The link says “crotchet” when you click on it. Hahaha! As a knitter and crocheter, though, I have to let y’all know (if you care) that these are definitely knitted, not crocheted.
LOL Smellyann – you will have to join their marketing team!
Looking at the pictures on tanga and walmart – I don’t think that they are the same boot. The ones on tanga have a thinner sole and I think that they look more like slippers than boots that you’d wear outside. Anyone know if that’s the case? I love the look of these but last time I bought a pair they were definitely not real boots so the only place I really wore them was to take the trash out!
Something is different because the ones on Walmart’s site have 5 buttons, not 4 like on Tanga. Maybe a newer model or something?
They are both the Muk Luks Malena Crochet Button Up Boot.
Wondering the same. The pictures are definitely not the same boot. (I think the 4 button on tanga looks cuter than the 5 button on Walmart! Just worried about the soles!)
I got these boots hoping for something to throw on in the mornings taking the kids to school and my feet got wet every time I wore them outside (dewy grass). IMO they are more of a slipper than outdoor shoe:(
Ebates 3% Just cant decide on a color!
Love these !!
🙂
Are these outside boots or slippers?
Outside boots 😉
Thanks 🙂
How warm are muk luks? Anyone have a pair? How do they compare to UGG?
I have a pair of Muk Luks and they look very similar to these. The sole is thin but very good. I don’t recommend wearing out in wet snow, but on solid snow or ice they are good. I also like them in the fall or spring with leggings. Uggs I believe are going to be more water/snow proof than these are, especially since they are knitted/crocheted.
That being said, I have had my Muk Luks for 3 years and they hold up better than other similar boots. I love them, and am considering buying a pair of these.
