This is hands-down my favorite water bottle EVER! I gladly paid $45 for it at REI and am debating buying another! I live in sweltering Phoenix where I can leave this in my car with ice in 115 degree weather during the day and it will still have ice in it at the end of the day! Buy it! You will not regret it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So happy to hear that Hannah! Thanks for such awesome feedback! πŸ˜€

    Where is it made?

    • LynnNV

China. I really wish it was a USA made product. πŸ™

When I purchased my first bottle, I don’t believe it was made in China. However, after a few more orders, I noticed the bottom of each bottle had the words “made in China.” I emailed the company, and their response was (after looking through my email inbox):

“Thank you for inquiring about the manufacturer of our bottles. Like the large majority of stainless steel bottles, Hydro Flask bottles are made in China. We take GREAT care to ensure that the factories we work with are not only up to American standards, but exceed them. Multiple times per year, Hydro Flask management visits each factory in person to make sure that fair labor and ethical business standards are met by the manufacturer. Additionally, each factory receives third-party audits throughout the year to further ensure these standards and practices are met.

Along with ethical business standards, Hydro Flask takes a multitude of steps to ensure the quality of our products. Each and every Hydro Flask undergoes material and safety testing so that we deliver only the best possible products to our customers. We work diligently and closely with our suppliers each day and ensure that products are meeting all quality and facility standards.

If you have any questions over our relationship with our suppliers in China, our product quality testing or how we monitor any of the above, please contact us and weΒΉd be happy to talk. We have great relationships with our suppliers and strive to be not only a fair company, but also a transparent one.

Thanks again for being a Hydro Flask fan.”

I’m still an avid supporter, but I hope this helps if anyone is more concern about their products being manufactured in China, and if you decide not to buy from them.

I copied this from an Amazon answer: Hydro Flasks are made in China. Hydro Flask requires each of their factories to operate ethically, fairly, and to treat all of their employees with the utmost respect and dignity. To that end, their management team makes regular quality assurance visits to the factories in Asia to ensure that their high standards are achieved. In addition, they are constantly looking for opportunities to improve and grow their fair labor program to influence both change and knowledge.
Hydro Flask works hard to make sure you receive only the highest quality stainless steel products that are built with the fairness, care, and dignity that can only come from someone proud to be a member of their extended family.

Got mine a few months ago and love it. I have the 32oz. Add a packet of True Lemon (or other flavors) and it is amazing! It totally changed drinking water to me. I take my Hydroflask EVERYWHERE.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great tip! πŸ˜‰

These are the best bottles out there. I’ve bought at least 3 for myself in different sizes and I’ve bought for others as a gift, totaling to about 12 bottles total! They’re that good!!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them. They’re nicely designed, stay cold (or hot) for a long time, and are great for outdoor activities or physical activities. They’re also lifetime warranty, and give 5% back to a charity of your choice listed on their website, which is still better than nothing. Downside is that the 40 oz. does not fit in my car’s drink holder compartment, and it may be heavy if you fill it up fully. But it holds a lot of liquid, is sturdy, and also very appealing to the eye. I’ve had my bottles for a long time, over 5 years and it’s still working great. I would highly, highly recommend this bottle and this brand πŸ™‚

Love Love Love my Hydroflask. I am usually out in the heat all day long and at the end of the day I still have ice in my water πŸ™‚

  13. Renee

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Renee!

  14. Kia

Just ordered a purple one for $26! Thanks for posting!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! You are so welcome Kia! πŸ˜€

  15. se

You all are convincing!!! Ordered one to try, and not even in market for new bottle. Hope it lives up!!

  16. Tracy

I purchased their growler size for my husband last year and we LOVE it! We’ve gone though plenty of stainless steel water bottles and this by far is the best.

  17. Phoenix

My husband LOVES his hydroflask. It is really crazy how cold it keeps his water during his work week. He leaves it in his truck…in the summer…in texas, and it stays cold all day long. I think I may need to get one for myself and test how well it can keep coffee hot πŸ™‚

  18. Mom Of 2

    Is this better than YETI??

  19. Stacey

These are great bottles. I have numerous sizes and have given them as gifts. The company is based in Bend, OR.

The bottles used to be produced in Portland but production is now done in China.

They are not dishwasher safe, so be sure to hand wash or you will have paint discoloration issues.

I live in Central Oregon and know this company very well. You won’t be disappointed.

  20. Heidi

Dutch Bros. Coffee sells them for $25 plus a coupon for a free drink. Love mine!

  21. Tatyana

    How do you wash it?

    • Kendall

I usually wash mine with soap and warm water. I would recommend investing in one of those bottle brushes (like for cleaning out baby bottles) to reach deep down. It is a wide mouth so it’ll be big enough to fit the brush in.

  22. Jennz

has this offer expired? I am not seeing that price on any original/color options

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Looks like it has gone up in price πŸ™

  23. Michele

Looks like you can get a red one is $28
