Thanks! I usually make my own and it’s about 5 cents per load. With the 15% S&S this is just barely more expensive–and less work for me! 🙂

Would you share how you make your own please? My son has severe food and environmental allergies and would love to know how you do this.

      • carrie8

Hi, Sara. I use the first recipe at the list here: https://tipnut.com/10-homemade-laundry-soap-detergent-recipes/
I use Zote soap because I can get a double bar at Big Lots for about 80 cents when they have 20% coupon days. But you can use Fels Naptha or even Ivory, from what I’ve read. I usually make one batch and then put it in old empty liquid detergent bottles.

          Thank you!

      You’re welcome! 🙂

Does anyone have a review for how this does in a front loading machine? Saw a few if-y reviews =/

    • Dee

I use it in my front loader & have no issues. Just make sure since it’s powder that you follow the instructions that come with your washer. I have to raise a plastic piece so the water can mix with it properly.

Thanks! I’m excited to try it. I’ve been trying different laundry soap recipes off pinterest, but so far none of them have been winners =/ The last batch has me finding food crusted on my toddlers clothing yet.

So happy got it… Thanks Collin for the post my mom only washes in no dyes and no fragrances. She’s gonna love it… Woohoo…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are very welcome Sherri! 😀

Would this work for a new baby, instead of Dreft?

    • Kari

This is supposed to be soooooo much better for baby! Dreft is actually full of bad for baby chemicals, I’ve been doing quite a bit of reading on it lately( as I’m 28 weeks along). Go to Environmental Working Groups page and do some reading. Dreft is scary!

      • Lisa

Agreed! Draft is not a good product for babies.

        • Patty

Thank You Ladies and Collin!! Have a Wonderful weekend!

Is this good for cloth diapers?

    • Becky

Looks like it is from when I googled it.

  6. Christine

This is my favorite laundry detergent! I have been using it for a couple years and in my opinion it is the best out of all the natural ones I have tried. I got two. Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for you feedback Christine! You are very welcome! 😀

  7. Kimberly

This is my favorite for my HE washer! My washer used to smell moldy so someone recommended this to me a couple years ago and it’s so so much better now!! Normally I order the scented one but for this price I’m giving this one a try!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s great Kimberly! Thanks so much for sharing! 😉
