Just a reminder that you can order any item online from Dollar Tree and have it shipped to the store. You will need to pay online and will get a notice as to when to pick your order up. Take that email to your store-very easy. When looking on their site, you will have to check the quantity and the minimum order. I purchased coupon organizer inserts which come in a pkg of 10 and minimum order is 36, so my total was $36 and probably tax. And by the way I love these! They hold coupons the size of dollar bills easily, so three to a sheet and I do front and back, so 6 to a sheet, and room to put duplicates in also. Yes, they are not a great quality, but I love them as I could not find a good quality sheet as this. And some items do have small quantities that you can order!

Oh man I love those iced coffees. But I’m pregnant so I’ve cut out caffeine. I got some decaf k-cups and make my own iced coffees though for the flavor.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Aww, Congrats Denise!

    • 😁

I feel your pain my baby is almost 10 months so I’ve been trying to cut out caffeine for almost a year and a half now since I decided to nurse him anytime I drink caffeine it makes him crazy! Congrats btw 😁

    • diana

Hi πŸ™‚ I’m a nutritionist and you have probably already found this out, but decaffeinated coffee still has caffeine in it (just less). I only wanted to let you know since sometimes people have trouble when they are breastfeeding with the caffeine in decaf drinks because they assume they are caffeine free so just a heads up ☺ p.s. Congrats! 😊

I found the gevalia drinks at the store near me last night. The shelf was close to empty. (Eugene, OR)

  5. Bethany

Mine had the gevalia iced coffee and also 6count kcup mocha packs. We didn’t have the biscuits but I’ve tried them before and I really liked them. I thought they were very similar to belvita breakfast biscuits

    • πŸ‘

      Wow that’s awesome good job!!

  8. Heather C

The biscuits were good the one time I bought them. They were dry, but I dipped them in coffee and it was a very good breakfast item for me + a banana. They are filling and don’t leave you feeling hungry after an hour. They aren’t as yummy as belvita, but they are def better than the Aldi version lol.

I’d be happy to hear what other grocery items you all suggest from dollar tree. I like their garlic bread, sweet potatoe fries, pierogis, philly swirl pops, frozen and reg pretzels, tortillas, bread, even cereal when they have the bonus buy larger sizes.

Also, the plastic containers aren’t so bad. The Rubbermaid takes longs are $1 for 3 during their bonus days. And they have nice large containers for the pantry where I keep my rice and flours. Love them. They have twist on tops.

    • Rachel

I also love their sweet potato fries! They’re so much cheaper than the grocery store! We also love their frozen fruit for smoothies.

By the way …I found Lysol toilet bowl cleaners at dollar tree and with the save $1.00 off 2 any size got them for $0.50 a piece !!

OK, I SHOCKED MYSELF, BUT BOUGHT THEIR 3.5-4.0OZ RIBEYES STEAKS. FAB!!!!. SO I SAUTEED THIN SLICED ONIONS IN DRIZZLE OF OIL, SPRINKLE IN S&P, GARLIC OR STEAK SEASONING.. 3-4 MIN. SPRAYED BALSAMIC VINEGAR DIRECTLY ON ONIONS And mushrooms.,…, ADDED SLICED MUSHROOMS.(i used baby portabellos from aldies, 89c)
.5 MINUTES IN….ADDED STEAKS AND MORE SEASONING, AND TOSSED ON SKILLET MED HIGH HEAT. I AND HUSBAND THOUGHT OMG….DO AGAIN SOON FOR ANOTHER MEAL….. KEEP IN MIND EVERYTHING IS THIN, SO HIGH HEAT AND SHORT TERM COOK TIME.

Dollar Tree has nine distribution centers across the US. The center that warehouses product for my state is in Illinois. I bought two cases of the Gevalia when it was available at my local DT. Should have purchased all of it…greedy me…but Target retail is almost $6 for same unit. Long story short, I called DT corporate and was told that when a customer orders from the distribution center connected with their area and the product is available at that center, THEN the product is shipped to your local DT with no S&H charge. BUT, if your distribution center is out of the product and you want to have it sent from another center outside of your assigned area, you have to pay the S&H to your home and they use UPS. So…just for the fun of it (although I knew the approx. answer), I asked the order taker to run the order for three cases of the Gevalia, just up until the submit key, so I could get the price of the S&H. The S&H came to almost $60 for $16 units of the $1 each coffee. That would be almost $8.00 per unit which is $2.00 more than what Target in my area charges. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see if my Illinois distribution center gets any more to ship out. A lot of things like this are one time deals.
