Dangerously easy recipe!

This is such a genius way to use a box of spice cake mix, and canned pumpkin puree. This dessert literally takes just a few minutes to throw together and then easy to bake in the oven.

It’s very low effort, but tastes YUMMY! Consider doubling the recipe for larger crowds, as it will disappear fast!

It’s pumpkin dessert heaven!

I love how the brown sugar caramelizes giving it a crumb cake texture while the pumpkin makes it really soft. This is my go-to alternative for pumpkin pie, and everyone loves it!

I can’t wait to try this. I’m thinking of making the apple one this weekend. My hubby will be gone for the weekend, so it will be a welcome home surprise for him. 🙂

I just made this yesterday for a church picnic! It was delicious. I have also made the cherry/pineapple variety many times. It’s a family favorite.
1 can of cherry pie filling, 1 can of crushed pineapple, 1 box of yellow cake mixmix, and 1.5 sticks butter. Baked at 350 for 30 minutes. YUM!

Sounds yummy, but aren’t cans of evaporated milk 12 ounces?

You could get 2 of the 5oz cans instead. That’s what I do!

I made this with the seasonal pumpkin cake mix that Pillsbury makes. Yum , yum and more yum.

Do you usually eat this warm, or does it matter?

I make pumpkin muffins with a box of spice cake mix, a can of pumpkin purée (15 oz) and add applesauce to thin out the batter. Then I bake it at the temp and time on the box.
