I am seeing that the coupon is for a starter Kit, isn’t a kit supposed to include at least two items? Does a duster qualify?
The starter kit includes the plastic handle and a removable duster. It’s the one pictured. The reps just have the duster part, not the handle. Ps I love these!
Are the 4.99 ones part of the deal? Because on target.com they only advertise the 9.99 ones as part of the deal mentioned above?
Yes they are. I just did the deal and this kit was marked as buy 3 get a $10 gift card in store.

YMMV on this deal. My target had them signed as stated above, however, the starter kits did not prompt for the GC at the register. I was told it is an error, and that it’s only the$9.99 and above ones that are included. They gave me the GC anyway, but also removed the tags on the cheaper kits.

The Target I stopped at had long lines and of course I get the crankiest oldest coupon scrutinizing cashier! She said these weren’t “starter kits” but I tried to point out that the products say the word kit right on them and they come with two refills, they aren’t just a refill pack… She wouldn’t take it and insisted it’s for the floor sweeping kind… I had my kids with me getting extremely restless so I told her not to call the manager and just take it off. They finally had 1 Dreft on the shelf and she wanted to question my $2 coupon and Cartwheel too but couldn’t so at least I got that! This is the very Target where a known extreme couponer in our area works and clears the shelves normally only to sell the products to make a killer side income – I guess she knows not to go to this cashier!

Don’t feel bad Ang… I feel your pain… I had the SAME exact scenario!! I tried so hard explaining to MY cranky cashier that this WAS INDEED a started kit, she wasn’t going for it. I was so frustrated. Then her next defense was, “well this is the wrong coupon anyway… this coupon is for the mops”. Ummm, No, it CLEARLY states ANY swiffer started kit! UGH!!! I gave up feeling very defeated.
I do the same thing BUT that is our current main income since my daughter was born and we follow the “rules”. Acg to our location it’s 3 gift cars per family/day (LIES) and 4 Q’s per person per day. i bring myself, fiance and whoever in the Family is shopping near by. The issue I have is Jerks going and trying to do 15 trans in the same trip and not caring when we all get punished. Then we look like the bad guys for following their guidelines. Bottom line, If the store doesn’t state it online then they have to honor it. I call over a manager and 9 out of 10 times I win without a single word.

If you return items with gift card deal, I am sure you will only get the refund minus GC value ($10 on this deal).
To get full credit, everything needs returned or you’ll only get $1.66 (if used q) back per each. The gc gets factored into the promo, when rung up.

My Target has come up with a new rule that they will only accept 2 manufacturers coupons. End of story. I thought the cashier must be confused so I paid for my things and took my receipt and third coupon to customer service. They repeated the two coupon policy limit and lectured me but they did give me a dollar back for my 3rd swiffer coupon. I had purchased $25 in swiffer products b/c I really needed the other items today. I did get the $10 go as well. I feel like I got a great deal but I hate being lectured when I know I’m following the rules.

My target only accepted 2 of the same coupons per transaction (so they wouldn’t accept the third coupon). Also, at first i thought my target only had the 9.99 swiffer duster (which has the longer stick), but a bit further down the aisle i found the 4.99 ones (short stick) so be sure to double check!
