I tried to match target.com yesterday on something else and customer service said I couldn’t use my cartwheel if I did.
Per policy you aren’t supposed to be able to do both but some sales associates will allow it.
It’s YMMV. But if they don’t allow it, they are following their store policy. Can always try again later with a different sales associate.

I had them price match the web site price of 19.99 for the blue ray special tin dvd and then got 50% so it came to $10!! They had the price for 24.99 in store and got them to change it to 19.99 😀😀👍🏻👍🏻
