Oh how fun! Where’s Waldo books are such a fun classic!
😀
I have been buying up the Christmas books I see on sale for this advent activity, we did it last year ( with library books) and the kids totally LOVED it! https://chasingsupermom.com/2014/11/christmas-countdown-book-advent/
I LOVE this idea. I am not sure you have to do it with new books to make it exciting either. For example, I have an entire storage tub of Christams books that we put away with the Christmas decorations every year. Storing them keeps them exciting (I am a librarian so we have tons of books). We display them in a pretty basket under the tree and chose from that basket for our nightly stories. I think I am going to take your advice and wrap them and have them choose a “new” book each day. Since they have been stored for the year, they are all new anyway – I will throw in a few surprises too so they will have a nice mix of favorites and new titles.
Thanks for the tip!
I do this too! It’s so fun for the kids! Scholastic has a bunch of Christmas books for cheaper than normal prices in their current catalogs if your kids get them!
I’m liking these book cartwheels! The number one thing on my 5 year old daughter’s Christmas list is books.
Oh cool!
Thanks so much for the two cute Xmas books deal! I’ll will definately be getting these! My husband and I give our nieces books for every holiday so they will be perfect!!
Oh how sweet! You’re welcome Brandy!
My friend and i are trying to find these in stores near us? this is the most info i have found so far about them. but does anyone happen to have the dpci codes so that i can look up the christmas books, or even the back barcode so i can scan it into my app? Thanks so much
