Not sure if you posted this already but I just signed in to my American Express and their offering a “Get a 1X $25 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single purchase of $45+ in-Club on a new Sam’s Club Membership by 12/31/2015. Offer valid on new memberships only. Offer not valid online. See terms for additional exclusions.” Also if you have a military id and print out their “military deal” you can get a $15 e-gift card when you sign up. I just did this and between the statement credit and the e-gift card my membership is only $5.
