In stores – here in Atlanta – they are selling a pack of four $25 American Girl gift cards for $79.99. Basically a 20% discount. At our store – they are in the toy section but they maybe in the big gift card display.
Oh – and one more tip – the site says there is a limit of 10 gift cards you can apply or you have to call to place the order. I decided to be the rebel and see if it would let me put more than 10 cards in…and it did!. Yea!!

I ordered the desk set for $58.00 and then ordered the sweater set which I was suppose to only pay 1/2 price if the order is over $50.00 but I only got the pro code of 20% off the whole thing I thought the sweater set was suppose to be $14.95 then take the GIFT20 code off of the cost. It said it would be taken off after I checked out ..but that didn’t happen?

Will there be another today show deal? Last year (and I think the year before) we got the girl of the year doll, book, extra clothing and cat for $80 (I think that even included shipping!). Since the code is good until the 12th, I am going to hold my breath for another deal like that! I have also heard where Costco is selling $100 American girl gift cards for $80. I got Kaya’s pow wow outfit with coordinating pajamas (a $40 deal) for $23 shipped with the 20% code! The doll outfit alone is priced at $38 so I think this is a pretty amazing deal!
On Cyber Monday 11/30 I ordered a Kit doll and other items that totaled more than $170 with the 20% off. Shipping came to $16.95. Then on Dec. 4, AG sent an email announcing the 20% + free shipping on orders over $100. WHAT!! I called customer service and got a recording saying they were so overloaded with calls that customers should use the website. So I emailed customer service and got an automated reply saying they were overloaded and I should call the 800 number. Just yesterday I got an email from customer service refusing to refund the $16.95 shipping because free shipping wasn’t good on previous orders and it wouldn’t be fair to people who paid the shipping (like me, I guess). Why wouldn’t the BEST deal be on Cyber Monday?? My order didn’t even ship until yesterday 12/7. On Cyber Monday I didn’t order anything that was on sale/clearance. I’m really disappointed. Feeling cheated.With free shipping on Cyber Monday I would have ordered more items. I stopped cuz the shipping was already so high.
