I bought this 3 years ago to learn to sew and still love it. I only use it a couple times every other month. Very easy to use and a ton of free videos on how to use it online. If you want to learn to sew this machine would be one to get. I just made superhero capes for my son’s birthday party with a very cool stitch. This machine will make it look like you know what you are doing.

Is this machine appropriate for a 9 year old? I got her a starter machine (singer) but with this deal I could take it back and pay the same price for what seems to be a better machine! Just don’t want to get something too advanced for a child, and I know nothing about sewing! Does anyone know if this is too much for a child learning to sew?
