   First, thanks for all the deal posts Collin!

   Second, I saw this dyson in person and I noticed something very different about it then the rest. the ball ‘hinge’ is missing in this model. With all the good deals on the more expensive models for around $200 my recommendation would be to buy those instead of this one. IMHO.
   Also, for those interested check eBay and overstock. Overstock had awesome deals on dyson yesterday. Who knows maybe today too.

   I have had this model for 7 years. Still going strong, and I use it at least 3 times a week. Would definitely recommend.

  Same here! I LOVE mine. had it for 10 years now. It was around $550 when I bought it, so this is a great price!

   I have the DC33 got it last year, it works well. I just wanted to give a heads up on the one thing that’s a small issue for me at least. This is a multi floor so I also use this on the hardwood floors in my kitchen. The (nose?) Not sure how to say that, of the vacuum is bumped up/higher it’s bulkier and not slim to the floor, so when I vacuum in my kitchen on the floor under the trim for the cupboards it stops and doesn’t get all the way under. I have to use a broom to sweep that dirt out in the 3-4″ area it can’t get to. It’s not the end of the world but just an fyi. I did see other people bring up the same issue on reviews before I got it and I didn’t think it was a big deal. I totally see now what they were saying. Other than that small thing it works well on carpet and animal fur.

   Anyone know how loud this vacuum is? We have mostly tile flooring and I don’t want something that’s going to make my ears ring every time I vacuum.
