Hoopla

Hoopla: Tip from reader Carolyn – “I had let my library subscription expire, so when I went to renew it I discovered my library system had HooplaDigital (it is not available everywhere), but for those systems that are, you can get ebooks, audio books, music, movies, tv shows etc for Free with your library card account, through an app. And they’ve just added chromecast availability so you can send movies and tv shows to your tv like Netflix. So for those people getting a Chromecast for Christmas it is another way to find shows to cast without signing up for a paid service.”

I live in cleveland and we have hoopla. It’s awesome especially for music. Any new albums are available on hoopla for free. There are also a great selecrion of e-books and audiobooks as well as videos. My library system also lets us take out up to 75 items and we have an iphone app to renew books online. Also I can check when a popular new release dvd is available and show up to that branch of the library to pick it up. Living in Cleveland means there are tons of branches that are all nearby to me. One of the libraries I live near even has a free child’s play center called parents connect. Anyway I can’t say enough about the library system here

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for such great feedback Amy!

I got a letter in the mail for $25 dollars off using Google express for the first time for Costco items through my Costco membership. I ordered 36 cans of Pepsi and a large box of granola bars (50) which came out to $25. They still made me pay for shipping but still worth it $5 for both of those items delivered to my door

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh cool!

I received the Lane Bryant $25 off a purchase in October, I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure why they sent it but I was happy to use it. Thanks for all the information above.

I haven’t been able to use the Charming Charlie $10 off any amount card that I got in the mail. Everytime I try to use it I get “Promotion code is not valid or minimum order amount has not been met.” And I can’t see anywhere on the card that is says a minimum purchase especially since it says no minimum purchase. Not sure what I’m missing here?

  9. Nicole

WOW about Justice, we always shop at Justice. Thanks for the information.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Nicole!

  10. Becca

Thanks for the info on Hoopla! I googled my library and hoopla together and sure enough my library has it but I had no idea. I am so excited because I am at the library constantly getting new stuff for my kids. I plan on downloading the app to my sons kindle so we can check some books out digitally, hopefully saving me a couple trips. Looked like they had a lot of good shows and movies too. Thanks so much for the tip!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! So glad you can use it Becca!

  11. Maurine

Thanks for the Justice info! No wonder they changed how they price everything recently!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!
