I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer after 28 years of having it when I was younger. I start chemo on Feb. 11, 2016. It would be such a joy to win this house!!! It would be the light in this dark time and give me so much to look forward to through treatment. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!❤️

I have never seen the ocean!!! My house now is 1890 Victorian…and is the Money Pit!!! I’m out on maternity leave and from the time I get up or go too bed I’m watching hgtv. I JUST love all the transformations that u all do for these families. The expressions on their faces said it all. Lol sorry I have too laugh my fiancee says come on ur only watching this hgtv cause of the property brothers. LOL I said well they both are really good looking men but man these brothers are good. Well I’m 40 yrs old a mother of 5. If I won this home it would be my dream come true I was a single mother for 8 yrs. I worked 3 jobs so I could raise my kids. I worked hard my whole life I bought a 100 yr old foreclose home. I think you all built a really great house. I have been entering to win a house for years,even through my Chemo for breast cancer and surgery.I’ve had illness and loss of family.And God has bless my family with a new baby granddaughter,she is a 3 week preme 2lbs 13oz, we almost lost her. This house is Awesome it reminds me of the things that I was able & used to do but, just can’t do anymore since I got ran over January 2006 coming out the krogergrocerystore in Flint twp.never even thinking something like this would happen but, it did. You can look it up at the flint journal or one of the other papers probably even the internet. At that time I was considered dead yet by the Grace of GOD I’m still here. This cold weather is bad on me for I stayed bundled up a lot trying to stay warm. I try to turn heat up to 85 – 93 degrees but, can’t for the heating bill is to great on a fixed budget. this might be what God has waiting for me which would be a True Blessing. Oh well, ( I hope & pray that HGTV will give this home to someone who could really use it ) not to somebody that wants to gloat looking at it as just another trophy they got that’s just obnoxious, uncool. ( GOD BLESS & Good Hope to All For A WIN )

I have been wanting to live in Florida since I was 15, I’m not 35 and I am engaged to be married to my fiance of 10 yrs!! We are in love with this home! The colors are FABULOUS! EVERYTHING ABOUT IS! My Husband and I have always talked and dreamed of retiring in Florida. I was born in California and he was born here in Texas, so Florida was the perfect choice to still be near our family in Texas. My grandfather taught us all how to Fish, Hunt drive a boat, and my husband loves the water with a passion. I would love to just have a place to call home. my family and I were flooded out of our home and we were homeless after working all of our life to provide a safe place for the family to come and spend quality time with, but our insurance failed us, the county that caused the flooding has yet to do anything to help us. so I would just like the have a place to call home.
I always dream of buying a house for me and my childre but times are tough became a single mom of7 children now it’s harder but doent hurt to keep trying this would be a dream come true
I love Florida and retired now I would just love living there I have cancer which is in remission now and this would be the perfect place to celebrate my victory with cancer!
Wow this would of been a blessing in from the heavens. 2015 diagnosed with three cancers lung, bone, and kidney. Never have been sick this was very surprising. However , it also made me feel like I should start living my dreams after spending 23 years living my spouse’s dream. So going through a divorce. Finally after working for 20 years in IT reversed roles with spouse who was decided to retire early in his late forties (sometimes when folks move back home to impress they forget to assess the long-term; show off).
Well my new life this would have been perfect for me and my 19 year old and 88 year old mom who I thought at the time I was healthy enough to care for.
I have so much to be greatfully gor even as I write this from a hospital bed. God doesn’t do us bad and only wants us to have the best do next time I won’t be late watch out for me lol.
