    • angeld001

Watch out for the side effects though.
      From https://www.rxlist.com/alli-side-effects-drug-center.htm:

Common side effects of Alli include changes in your bowel function because of the unabsorbed fat, fatty/oily stool, oily spotting in your undergarments, orange or brown colored oil in your stool, intestinal gas with discharge, loose stools, a feeling of needing to have a bowel movement right away, increased number of bowel movements, poor bowel control, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or rectal pain. These side effects of Alli may worsen if you eat more fat than you should. Other side effects of Alli include weakness, dark urine, clay-colored stools, itching, loss of appetite, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), problems with your teeth or gums, cold symptoms (stuffy nose, sneezing, cough), fever, chills, sore throat, flu symptoms, headache, back pain, or skin rash.

      • K Tenny

        Think I’ll say fat.

        • Meliza

          Lol

      • Meliza

Thanks for info! Doesn’t sound fun at all.

      • mumm

This has always been a problem with them. It still surprises me that it’s still on the market. They used to suggest you wear dark colored pants and have a second pair with you. Side effects I could do without LOL. Robin Williams did a bit were he called them “effects” not side effects check it out it’s really funny.

When i was in highschool my teacher was telling us about nutrition and diet pills. She mentioned alli and was like “i have 2 words for you…’ annal leakage’ “… I prefer slimquick pills (but take less then the reccomended does cause its getsvme too hyped.

      • Meliza

Yikes! TMI H.S. teacher lol. Yea I think ill avoid that. Lol. Thanks for the info.

    • Abby

Hi Meliza! 40 pounds can seem impossible, but I just wanted to say that after the birth of my second son I was over 200 pounds and really needed to lose. I successfully lost 60 pounds and KEPT it OFF!!! I am now on my third pregnancy (twins) and have only gained in my belly and within the recommended weight gain! All I did was eat clean and exercise. I promise it will work! I wouldn’t spend $1 on a diet product now after doing it that way. And before I was all about fad diets and diet pills!!! I hope this was helpful

      • Meliza

Thanks Abby this is what im thinking of doing, it just seems so much easier when they’re is a little added help lol. Congratulations on your weightloss and the new babies. Best of luck.

Has anyone tried this product .?Has anyone lost weight on it ?? It seems sooo expensive .!!!.With the money I save a month with Hip2Save…(thx Collin ) i am finally able to join a gym… That is a start..i no…. but i could use some help…any ideas or thoughts would help.. TIA.!!!!

    • Carmen

My mom tried it with some success although she was in the bathroom a lot! My suggestion would be to start with the gym first like you’re planning. Stick to it–don’t quit. Always remind yourself why you joined and what your goals are. Make friends there–they will push you and motivate you. Exercise is the best way to lose weight and to keep it off. Best of luck to you in your weight loss journey and road to better health!!! You can do it!

      • Dayna

I agree with the buddy system at the gym. It may sound intimidating, but I find that group classes motivate me the most. It’s fun working out with a group of people with a wide range of experience (beginner, intermediate, gym rat, etc). There was a gym at my old job and I went everyday at lunch and made lots of new friends and got to know a lot of people!

    • M

Agree with the buddy system and also have been successful with the MyFitnessPal app. Helps keep yourself accountable and track everything. HNY!

  4. Michelle

I took it when it was prescription and it caused awful staining gas. Not sure if the over the counter is that bad.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your feedback Michelle. Good to know.

  5. Jennifer

Beware of anal leakage! Seriously if you pass gas you may soil yourself. It’s fine if you don’t eat a super fatty meal, but if you do, make sure you are on a toilet to pass gas. Lol, sorry to be so blunt!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the tip!

  6. Molly

I don’t know much about this product, but I prefer an All natural product like what ItWorks makes. Combine their Thermofit (metabolism booster) and Fat Fighters (carb inhibitor) with eating better and exercise is the healthier option in my book.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your honest feedback Molly.

  7. sara

Just read the reviews on Amazon. Sounds like they changed the main active ingredient. People who were on it before say it nolongier does anything. Im still reading about it. I have 25 lbs I would like to drop.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Sara!

  8. sara

Mayo clinic has a review on this as well.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing!

  9. Lisa

I am also curious if anyone has had success. I have never taken a diet pill before and am curious about this one since it is FDA approved. I too have about 30 lbs to loose. Diet and exercise is the way to go but am willing to try something like this if it helps move the process along.

  10. Jenna

I use to use Ali before they took it off the market and it was effective for me. However since it has came back on the market, I have read a lot of people saying that it doesn’t work anymore. So beware.

  11. Poppy

Diet pills don’t work nor are they safe. If they did and were, everyone would use them.

  12. K Tenny

Anal leakage hey. Well that’s gross. Maybe those who suffer from constipation should try it.

  13. Kim

Remember the Wow Chips from the 90s?? Same thing. Shat!!

  14. haz

I guess everyone is defferent. I started taking this 3 weeks ago and lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks with out dieting or excersising. I am a stay at home mom and would never take this otherwise because of the “anal leakage”. It has stuck up on me 3 times but I was thank goodness home. It happen when I ate pizza & chilie cheese fries. It will make your body discard PURE OIL.

    • Lisa

Thank you for your honest review!

  15. shey

Diets never work for long.A complete change of lifestyle does.I went vegan and lost 50 lbs quickly and love it.I eat more now then ever in all my 55 years and feel great.

    • Maja

Same here, went vegan lost 30 lb , and eat a lot of good foods. And I tried every diet and always gained pounds back, but now I feel great, no pounds back and no side effects like with pills.

  16. Dany

My aunt used this for 4 months to Jumpstart her diet. She lost 30 pounds, stopped it, and joined gym and cut sugar and white flour. It helped her learn to eat better because she said fatty food caused awful cramps. If she ate healthy, no issues. No leakage, etc. If you are trying to correct bad eating habits it might be good for you.

  17. bali

Yeah i tried this a few years ago along with a low-fat diet and exercise and it worked well for me. No weird side effects.

  18. Pattie

I also have heard a lot of problems with leakage and gas. Weight Watchers has been great and they are running a special now. Check it out. Hope this helps.

  19. Andrea

Skip the orange-grease inducing leakage this causes and sign up at MyFitnessPal.com. I’ve lot 75 lbs using MFP and the App on my phone. Alli is one of the WORST woo products on the market.

  20. Mimi

I have lost 70 lbs since March on the Paleo diet. I am 51 and feel better than I have in 20 years. Blood sugar and cholesterol are normal since I started. Lots of info in the internets!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

OH awesome! Congrats on your success!

  21. dalymom08

I tried alli. I ate very little fat because I was afraid too. Lol. I had no problems but one strange bowel movement after eating some of my daughters curly fries from arbys. I have been eating low carb last few months and have lost about 45 lbs. I have a small facebook group if anyone is interested in joining and trying low carb.

  23. Dany

Just did Alli deal, coupon is taking off $10, not giving $10 gift card. Double check while cashier is charging because I was confused and asked for my gift card.

  24. Jessica hill

I also didn’t find the cartwheel 10% off. Is that an upcoming deal or did it just end?
