No Kidding” and enclosed was a coupon code for $25 off anything with no minimum. Also, FREE shipping to Lane Bryant store if there is one in your area! Hope some other people got this awesome deal!”

CVS: Tip from reader Denise – “You can go to this site: https://cvs.cardcash.com and enter your gift card information (retailer, gift card # & pin) and CVS will give send you a CVS e-gift store credit for up to 97% value for your unwanted gift card. There is a link at the bottom you can select to see all retailers they accept and there is a customer service number at the bottom you can contact with any questions.”

Dollar General: Tip from reader TV – “At Dollar General they have the Campbell’s Chunky soups 3 for $3 this week and there’s a $1 off 3 soups coupon in (I believe) last week’s paper, so it makes them 3 soups for $2.”

Dollar Tree: Tip from reader Karina – “I found Pedigree Dentastix dog treats at my local dollar tree store in Aurora, Colorado and I used the $1/1 any Pedigree treat printable coupon from Coupons.com. I brought four and used four coupons, the cashier scanned them and they went through without a problem for once.”

Lowe’s: Tip from reader Mike – “You may want to do a story on Lowe’s not taking e-gift cards such as those bought on Raise, Card Cash, etc. as of January 7th. I currently have $300 left on a egift card that I bought through Card Cash and the card number is no longer valid. I called Card Cash and they informed me of this policy change and they submitted a claim for my card balance. Not sure why Lowe’s decided to do this but it will move my business over to Home Depot immediately.”

Kroger

Kroger: Tip from reader Holly – “These are ringing for $13.50 at my Kroger!”

Victoria’s Secret: Tip from reader Sara – “For anyone who missed the free pant deal, I received a VS magazine this week – inside with a code good through 01/25/16 for a free sport pant with purchase of a full price sports bra! The code is ‘SPORTWJ‘ and it works on ANY pants (even the $95 limited edition ones)! 🙂 Pretty sure it will only work for people who didn’t take advantage of the previous free pant code. I know towards the end the stock of colors and sizes was low but they’re all back to normal today!”

Movie Store: Tip from reader Kelly – “Now I may be one of the last people on earth to know this… but did you know that you can have scratched/non-working game discs (Wii games etc.), movie DVD’s, or music CD’s that you can have them resurfaced and they are like new! Just discovered this at a local movie store here in town. The cost was $2.99 and they we able to fix 2 of our Wii games. Considering most games are $40-$60, I am thrilled! The manager here said that she has a 95% success rate. Maybe not the best deal for a music CD, but for a game or a favorite movie, absolutely! We live in a small town, so I would assume that most movie stores can do this. To be honest we usually use the Redbox, so we had no idea this could be done.”

Kellogg's

Walmart: Tip from reader Lisa – “I was just at Walmart (Iowa) and found this great deal! The Kellogg’s Mini Wheats Little Bites (15.2 oz box) had these peelies: “Save 2.00 on coffee, milk or fruit (any brand) when you  purchase two Kellogg’s Cereals 8.7 oz or larger, any flavor, mix or match). At my Walmart in Iowa, they had the Kellogg’s Mini Wheats Little Bites 15.2 oz box for $1.50. So who can’t use a little more cheap coffee or fruit in their lives!”

Victoria’s Secret is also refusing to take e gift cards bought on third party sites (like Raise). It’s so annoying!

  2. MCouzens

Thanks for the tip about resurfacing game/movie/music discs! I had no idea & my son is a big gamer so definitely worth knowing.

      You are so welcome!

Why am I having a problem going to the next page of posts? When at the last post of a page it shows the Comments, even though I have not asked for them, which is fine except that I then cannot get to the next page of posts. Could someone please help me out? TIA and have a wonderful day-cold here but sun has shown all day!

I went to Lowe’s today to use my Lowe’s e-gift cards from Cardcash.com as I am remodeling a bathroom and wanted that extra 11.5% that I had gotten at through Card Cash after reading Mike’s comment. I checked with customer service and they said they were still valid. At checkout they wouldn’t go through the register, but the cashier checked to validate that they did have a balance. They converted the e-cards to a regular gift card and then rang it up without a problem.

A note to Victoria’s Secret shoppers attempting to use the “SPORTWJ” deal that’s was offered in a catalogue: It’s supposed to expire on 1/25/16 online or in-stores but when I tried to use it online, it said the offer expired. I activated the “Live Chat” & this is the rep’s response: “Carolina: We have ended the promotion earlier than expected due to the overwhelming response to this amazing offer. We do reserve the right to modify or end an offer at any time. I’m sorry for the disappointment.” I told her that wasn’t fair esp. to fans since it’s still a sale for them & they’re still moving the product. What a disappointment…

THANKS! I just tried to use it too, and couldn’t figure it out – that is some crummy customer service!
