Got these from Target a few weeks back. My boys didn’t like it, said it tasted hard. I tried it and seconded that. The originals(elbows) are better.
Ill agree with you , it has a funny taste to everyone in this house too. Great novelty thing but not good to eat .
I agree, I got this on clearance at target a few weeks ago and it was awful. They also held a lot of water even after draining so it was watery!
All the shaped ones are super gross and hard. They smell funny to me too.

My family noticed this, too. I made these and my husband and I couldn’t figure out where I went wrong with the recipe. My daughter said the shaped macaroni always tastes weird.
From now on, I’ll only buy the original.
I agree! Not good. Kind of doughy tasting. Probably why it’s marked down.
They switched up their recipe to all natural flavors, and it does not taste good! I now have 8 boxes in the pantry that no one will eat.

They have these at the Buford, GA Sam’s. Keep in mind exp. date is next month. I personally don’t care for them and I usually like the shapes better than the elbows. My son likes them however.
Yup I will chime in, the shapes are horrible. They are hard, or they fall apart completely. Weird taste too. I love the idea of making a necklace though, clever 🙂

My kids love them. All box Mac and cheese is basically gross don’t you think? What IS that orange powder anyway? My daughter is two and she loves to find all the r2-d2s.

I bought these too for about 25 cents a box. Something is different with the cheese powder. If you add cheese powder from a regular box these taste normal. If not they are gross!!!!
