They don’t clean well
Darn. 🙁 Sorry to hear that Judy. Thanks for your honest feedback.
I use the hydrating cleanser 2 times a day and it leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. This isn’t meant to remove makeup, I use a separate wipe or makeup remover for that. I really recommend this face wash for those with sensitive or dry skin
Thanks for such helpful feedback Erin!
Wow great deal! Just took my boys to the dermatologist today and this is what she recommended.
Oh perfect!
Yep same here.
I love this cleanser! It really is hydrating.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Has anyone tried these products?
Sara I received a sample of the cleanser and moisturizer and am currently using both products. I have uber sensitive oily skin with roseacea flare ups and this one of the few drug store products I can use. Cetaphil anticeptic bar is my cleanser and I have been supplementing with this Cerave cleanser in winter. Also switched to Cerave moisturizer after using the sample. Tried it after I ran out of Origins moisturizer and wanted a less expensive replacement. I have to say I am extremely please with Cerave price and products for my sensitive aging skin. I have tried everything from Clinique to Perricone to La Mer
and now use mostly Cerave, olive oil and coconut oil. HTH!!
The samples that were posted here on hip2save a few times also had $3 off coupons! So if anyone has not used those yet, this would be great time! They expire 9/2016.
That me alright
I really like the Hydrating Cleanser and the Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM. The AM Moisturizing Lotion has a different texture, and feels heavier on my face. So, I highly recommend the PM Moisturizer and the Hydrating Cleanser. I hear that many dermatologists are recommending these, as well. If you use Renova, or a prescription Retinoid, the PM cream is good to use over your retinoid at night, once it’s been absorbed. I’ve been doing that for years, with good results.
This brand is highly recommended by my dermatologist.
Thanks for your feedback Amy! Good to know! 😉
They are great products! I use the moisturizer for myself and my 10 year old sensitive skinned daughter. They were recommended to me by someone who spends 100’s in makeup products each month.
Sweet!
This brand is highly recommended by my sons dermatologist and allergist but it is not a pleasant smell.
The only store brand that my daughter’s dermatologist recommends — thank you!!
You’re welcome Kate!
These are AWESOME for the winter. I live in northeast Ohio and I have been using the hydrating cleanser and moisturizer and my skin doesn’t feel right at all!! If you wear makeup, just be sure to take the makeup off first because it isn’t a makeup remover, but for cleansing your skin, it doesn’t strip it at all!!
Also, if you have a BJs nearby, sometimes they have club coupons plus you can find $4-$8 coupons you can use on top of that to get an awesome deal on these!!
Eek! I meant my skin doesn’t feel TIGHT. I can’t type today LOLOLOL
I love cerave moisterizing cream. This is the only brand i have been getting for a few years and anyone who’s tried it loved it as well. It has no scent and does not feel greasy and leaves skin very soft.
Thanks for such great feedback Patricia!
Love the cream for my hand eczema. My dermatologist recommends this cleanser, too.
That’s great Kristie!
I used this on the CeraVe baby products with the $4.00 off Manufactures Q also. 9.99 + 4.99 (1/2 off)= $14.98, – (2) $4 MQ and (2) $2 WQ = 2.98 for both bottles.
Which baby products did u buy? How come the baby products are a lot less than the regular product
Love the moisturizer for PM, works great and is not heavy
If you can’t get to the store you can get the buy one get one 50% off online as well. In addition you can use promo code HEART20 to get 20% off, and you can redeem your rewards too.
I bought the lotion yesterday from Walmart.. and already used it…Dang if I had waited one more day:(
The facial moisturizing lotion AM/PM is recommended by my Park Avenue cosmetic dermatologist. Of course it is just one step in a skin care regime but its a great moisturizer!!!!
My sons dermatologist recommends this and it’s made a huge difference in his 15 year old skin. It’s hydrating, and cleans away the bacteria that leads to acne. My 28 yr old daughter still uses this as well and their sunscreen too.
I’m a nurse and I highly recommend this brand’s products for sensitive skin, including their physical sunscreens (containing titanium dioxide and zinc oxide). I’ve used CeraVe and Cetaphil brand products since learning about them years ago from dermatology. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis (a form of eczema). I’d start with the Hydrating Cleanser for Dry to normal skin, it’s fragrance free and very gentle. I use a separate eye makeup remover and face makeup remover wipes (i have to be careful though, as I have sensitive skin.) I’ve also had good results with the fragrance-free lotions from Cetaphil and CeraVe. I wait for sales and deals, since they’re more expensive products. But a bottle of these lotions is worth 5 of a Curel or Jergens lotion to me, as these work better. And the cleanser is the only thing I use on my face.
Can you buy 2 different cerave products for the buy 1 get one 50 percent off? Like the cleanser and lotion? Or do you have to buy 2 cleansers?
Yes, I did.
I love these products, but they only let me use one manufacturer’s coupon per transaction.
yea that happened to me too awhile ago when I tried to purchase playtex products on a b1g1 sale. Walgreens only accepted one manufacturer’s coupon for the b1g1 sales. I was confused when the cashier said they didnt accept it.
Collin, can you explain this to us?
So Walgreens should allow you to use two coupons on a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale. However, on a buy 1 get 1 free sale, due to the coupon policy, you can only use one coupon. Here’s what they state –
“For offers when multiple items are purchased and additional items are free (buy 1 get 1 free; buy 2 get 1 free, etc.), the number of coupons applied to that offer cannot exceed the number of items required in the “buy” portion of the offer.”
Here’s the full coupon policy:

If you don’t like to shop Wags & have Rite Aid, next week CeraVe is BOGO 50% off and you get 800 Plenti Points. At my store, the Hydration lotion & cleanser is priced $13.99, so $20.98 for both – $6 for the q’s = $14.98 – $8 in points = $6.98 or $3.49 each!
And the $20.98 will track for the Feb Big Points promo!
Thanks for posting this Collin! This is what we use for us and our kids. Not only is it recommended by our dermatologist, but they sell it at their office. Of course this deal makes it so a lot less expensive!
You’re welcome Kelly!
I tried to do this deal & when scanned the Q’s I printed came up that they didn’t match what I was buying!! Mgr wouldn’t let me use & treated me like I made. The Q’s myself! No more Wags for me!
I purchased the CeraVe moisturizing lotion for 10.99 and the twin pack CeraVe healing ointment for 3.49 (1/2 price) got $2 off both with Walgreens coupon and used $4 off healing manufacturer coupon and $3 off any Cerave coupon. Total $3.48 or $1.74 each. Awesome! Thanks Collin
The rev $13 (12.99) at my stores
