  My daughter loves that movie! Very cute and funny. It also helped in a very kid friendly/PG way, explain death. Her grandmother had recently passed and i felt it eased her and helped her process facts better.

  It’s cute.. worth $4. I was concerned about the death portions, but I think after watching it that your kid would have to be pretty sensitive to be upset by it.

   These DVDs appear to be from the 20th Century Library. In sales past, they usually have the 20th century fox DVDs for 2.99 and the blurays for 4.99
   Not sure if they decided to make the new sale price point for them 3.99 instead of 2.99

   The Book of Life is a great movie. My 4 years old love it. It is about family, death, love, and just follow your heart.
