Has anyone ever used this site before? I am a little apprehensive but would like to give it a shot. Our movie theater is listed, but I am just a little nervous about the restaurant part!
I bought this deal a few years ago from another discount site and regretted it. Used the movie tickets right away, but have yet to use the restaurant ones because restaurant.com has no restaurants in my area. To be safe, I would check the website first to see what local restaurants participate. Hope this helps.

Yes. Make sure there’s places in your area. Was a good deal when I did it. Most of mine were $25 off $50 so we use them when our parents or in laws visit and take them out to eat. Places by me are pretty inexpensive so sometimes we still have to get more food to get the $50 but some places are different minimums.

We had a bad experience with Restaurant.com. Several of us bought this deal at a local place and the owner of restaurant said he never authorized the vouchers for his place. Restaurant.com wouldn’t refund money at all even though they were selling invalid vouchers. I had to go through my credit card and dispute charge. So just double check with your local business to ensure they accept vouchers.

We have used restaurants .com a lot and love it! It’s a nice way to help our date money go a little farther and its a fun way to try new places, post places that do it are smaller businesses and its fun to try out new places for less 🙂

I was luckier when they first started. Now I have bought repeat location certificates and they no longer accept. And I switched for another place, called and they no longer accept either or never heard they were on this website. I ended up using my $25 at a few $5 and $10 cupcake places just to use them. So def before you click and buy, call the restaurant and confirm.

i had a problem with restaurant.com. there was a promo where there was a 5 gift card freebie. I never received it. I have emailed them at least 5 times and no one answers my email. Very frustrating to be ignored. I will not use them again.
