I have been an employee at Walgreens for about three years and recently found out that employees receive awesome deals on this website named PerkSpot. It helps you save on furniture, TV’s, airplane tickets, appliances etc. and these deals aren’t only for Walgreen’s employees but also for a lot of other companies.
A quick example of the savings I could have had if I had found out about this sooner would have been two months ago when I moved to Amarillo, TX. I rented a Budget truck worth $1,000 and the discounts that could have been applied would have brought the price down to about $700. I just want to throw it out there and let people know about these offers!

My employer has an account through TicketsAtWork and I have saved a bunch on travel over the years using them. Recently, I got some Vegas shows half off and didn’t have to wait to buy them day of, I have bought one day at Biltmore and gotten the second day free, etc.
Ticketsatwork actually has a ticket office in Orlando where we got discount tickets to Seaworld…if u wait until last minute to try and find a deal like we did.

We do at my job as well. I live in Orlando and saved several hundred dollars on annual passes. They stopped selling them after the latest change. I also got my secret Santa gift of a movie ticket package from them too.
I work for a local hospital and me and my hubby get 22% off verizon bill every month 😉
AT&T offers discounts too. I am a teacher.

Many unions also have memberships at consumer discount sites, so if you belong to a union you can check to see what they offer.

I work at old navy and I get a 22% discount on my phone bill at sprint! Also after a year with the company we get paid volunteer time, a lot of employees never knew that but I’ve been volunteering on and off for a couple months and getting paid my normal hourly wage for it! I was going to volunteer anyways but this is a great perk.

I also work for old navy and have never known about this ! Is there a name for this program? I knew years ago you could volunteer and they paid your wages directly to the organization you volunteered at as a donation. Is that what you meant?
just Google Sprint discount program. My hubby used to work at Costco and he was getting 22.5% discount. Now he doesn’t, but after researching, I found out that they provide 19% discount to the local university’s employees.It was very easy to switch and provide a proof.
My hubby got hired for comcast about 3 months ago, and what we didn’t knw was ” If we had kept our old originally comcast box our cable would have been FREE” , but since we didn’t knw we signed up for the new box which is xfinifity and now out bill is $39 after taxes .. I know not a lot, but considering we would’ve gotten it for FREE. 🙂 After his employee discount.
Comcast also has perks with CVS, you get a % off with every cvs medicine related purchases. They also have discounts with shopping channel, forgot the name :/
I used to work for Walmart, and we received these type of benefits. I loved it and it’s definitely what I miss most about working there lbvvs. I got discounts on my phone bill, cheap tickets to Six Flags, and cheap car rentals that allowed me to pick the vehicle I wanted without any surcharge. It was great 🙂

I worked for Wells Forgo about 10 years. They have one of the most comprehensive benefits packages I’ve ever seen. So miss it!
My husband is in the military and gets 15% off at AT&T. I’m a little jealous of you people that gets 20% off or more. I’m not going to complain because a discount is a discount, but I’m still jealous.

My employer is part of a group purchasing organization (gpo) . I get 25% off AT&T. Other cell companies participate too. Along with other companies. Check with your employer!

Free admission to Carnegie museums, and others, in Pittsburgh, was a perk when I worked for a large bank, there. Also a lot of other free and discounts around the city. Find out if your employer is a sponsor or makes donations to these places, you can often find a discount.
My mom gets reward points (based on guest accolades, management & other team members, and if her dept meets or exceeds their monthly sales goals) She can then use those points at the online catalog. Over the years she’s gotten a toaster, le cruset baking dish, ipad mini, Keurig Kcup machine, pyrex measuring glass, utensils & glass set, garmin navigator and much more. She has also used her points to cash out for $50 hotel vouchers.
My husband gets a discount on his cell phone bill (I think its 25%) and since he’s considered a state employee, gets a discount at different stores & zoo (and other local attractions) as long as he has his work badge with him.

My employer uses bonus,ly where employees can give points to each other that can be redeemed for gift cards. They also use Gravie.com where employees can nuy individual insurance that better fits them than group insurance plans. Love both.
I work in Brooks brothers and we get $5 shirts and tops twice a year and 60% everyday at stores. On top of it, we get 600$ for gym to use for the whole family.
My husband works for Southwest Airlines and we fly for free which is great. They also have a discount page on their employee website to save on cell phones, travel, Apple products and more.
Also Collin, many of these websites offer benefits to family members that you add. They don’t have to live with you. Another place to look for discounts is through your college or alma mater. One of the schools I went offers similar access to alumni. Some employers also give discounts on electronics. Mine sends out links around the holidays to get them at corporate discounted rates.
I work for Starbucks and we have so many perks, probably too many to list- but recently we got free Spotify premium accounts!
Hubby works for Hills (Science Diet pet food) and once a week we can shop at the company store. Hills is owned by Colgate-Palmolive so we get Colgate, Palmolive, Fabuloso, Toms of Maine, Speed Stick, soft soap, Ajax (and others I’m forgetting) all at a very very low price!
I used to work at a surf shop in North Carolina and recently just started working at Dick’s sporting goods. There is a website called 3point5.com and if your company sells a certain product then you can get deep discounts. As an example I can get Oakley, North face, Ariat and many more for 50% off even 20%-30% wholesale prices. You need to look over power points and pass the quizzes to unlock the discounts, but very worth it!
I used to work for Bank of America in their Auto Flooring Dept. We were the middle man between car factories and auto dealerships. So benefit was knowing how much the dealerships actually purchased the car for and getting almost that same price. It was like a VIP secret lol. Man I miss working. Now my job perks are finding money in laundry and Colin texting me about freebies online lol.
Are most of these benefits for full time employees? I work at gap part time and get an employee discount on clothes at gap and sister companies. Other than that I’m not aware of any benefits offered to me. If I could save on my phone bill that would be great!
It doesn’t matter. When I worked at Dick’s, the cell phone discount wasn’t advertised to hourly employees but I asked when I went to AT&T. They were like “yup, 22% discount for Dick’s employees” and they added it to my account. I ended up keeping that discount long after I stopped working there as they never asked me for any employment “proof”. I get 22% through my new job so I use that instead. Just call or stop in your phone provider and tell them you work for XYZ Company and were wondering about a plan discount.
I work at Old Navy and it’s for all gap inc employees! The phone companies can tell you how to get it.
How can you find out if you are offered any discounts? My husband works at Jiffy Lube and I wouldn’t think he would get any special discounts but i figured it is worth to look it up just in case.
