Limit one coupon per purchase
One coupon per purchase = one coupon per item.
One coupon per transaction = one coupon per total payment, no matter how many items you purchase.
Thank you
Yes, but Wags cashiers aren’t the best about comprehending coupon wording. I got some last time it was on sale and the second gum coupon beeped, so the cashier refused it based on the wording “one per purchase.”
Same thing happened to me in Sarasota, FL.
This is what I found. If the cashier enters the items as a quantity, rather than scanning each individual item, the register attaches the first coupon to the group. Now the register is trying to attach the next coupon to a ‘non-existent item’ (if that makes sense) and it’ll beep.
Mel – exactly! This is what my wags cashier told me this week. They should ring them up separately.
If it is one coupon per purchase as mentioned above, would buying 2 packs be considered 1 purchase?
Each item in your basket is part of your purchase, the entire purchase is a transaction. When using coupons, you cannot have the cashier scan ONE coupon multiple times. If you have 4 items, you can either use 4 $0.50/1 OR 2 $1.00/2 coupons. Each coupon scanned must match inventory sold so the store gets reimbursed correctly.
I love the strawberry starburst kind!! Thanks so much!!! Printing in progress 😃
