We have Prime and these are included. Awesome since we cut cable.
OH cool! Glad you can grab them Jenn!
How did you cut cable and get internet at a reasonable price? Looking at $70/mo for internet from Comcast with no T.V. service in Ca. I’d love to cut this monopoly out, but don’t know how.
Internet is one cost we did not cut/downgrade since we need it good and fast. We pay 70 a month for premium (or whatever the mid level tier is called) from Cox.
Jenn, I was hoping you had the magic formula. I keep negotiating once it gets to $120. for tv and internet. Most recently I got it down to $99 without a contract, but they added on fees for local programming and sport channels that were free or included before…now paying $112.
Also, the adapter for a bedroom, which was free, is now $1.99/mos.
I HATE THIS COMPANY.
I hear ya. They nickel and dime everywhere. We just moved our router from one floor to the other. I was told it would be $50. When we were billed it was $60 plus tax plus some other nonsense surcharge both of which i was told nothing about. I was able to argue the 60 back to 50 but thats it.
$50 for lower speed Comcast in CA, enough to run HD TV, you only need 5MBPS per Netflix to run HD despite what Comcast tell you! 😉
Worst case go low and try it, they will always allow you to increase it! 😉
We have Time Warner, my bill was almost $150 (tv, internet and phone) so we decided to cut the cable because of the price and because we also have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Now we pay $50 (tax included) and we got the basic tv, phone and fast internet.
The trick, you need to call every time your bill goes up and say (threat) you are going to cancel your service, then they will have a good offer.
We also cut cable over a year ago and pay only $55 for our internet in Southern California. We have the fastest internet speed that was offered since we rely solely on it for any TV programming.
I’m in Northern California and I use sure west aka consolidation communications. I have the plan that includes a house phone and Internet and pay roughly $59 a month total with tax included. Pretty good deal 🙂 if you cut out the house phone, it’ll knock down to $30ish I believe. Internet is pretty fast too
Oh they are already included
With prime?
Thank you! My babies are going to love this!
You are so welcome!
Thank you very much!! 🙂
You’re welcome!
Thank you! My kiddos will love these!!
You’re welcome Laura!
Thanks Collin! 😀
You’re so welcome!
Anyone know if these are on Hulu or Netflix?
I’m not sure. But if you get the Amazon instant video app, you can AirPlay to your Apple TV.
I know for a fact, these aren’t on Netflix. There’s barely anything Sesame Street on Netflix.
Sid the Science Kid is.
You can go to instantwatcher (I use the app) to search everything on Netflix easily. It also has new release lists and it’s easy to use!!
I teach elementary school and will be able to use some clips of these shows with my kiddos! Thank you 🙂
Oh perfect! You’re very welcome!
Thank you! We are planning a long road trip this summer and I was hoping to let kids hold the kindles to watch a movie or two while we are traveling when we can’t stream. You have to own the video to watch when not connected to Internet which I did not know until recently!
How can you watch when not connected, even if you own? This would be very useful information to know since I do not have unlimited internet connection.
You download it to your device. I downloaded several episodes of the Wire a year ago when I had a long layover as well as shows on Showtime during their free weekend at Thanksgiving. Watched stuff on my Kindle and my phone while on the flight with no internet.
Yay thank you!! My babies are going to love these!!
YW!
Thank you got the whole season 1
Sweet! You’re welcome Heather!
Thanks!! 🙂
Thank you. I ordered them. Now how do you watch them.
Thank you SO MUCH! We love Elmo and Sesame Street!!!
Once again THANK YOU!
Thanks. The Sid the Science Kid episode is “Getting a Shot: You Can Do It!”. I’m a RN and this would be great to show kids afraid to get their flu shots!
Thank you!!
So helpful for trips on my own w kiddos thank you!!!!!
How do you all have room on your devices to store these videos? I have too many videos of my kids I think; I’m constantly running out of room and needing to delete stuff!
All of my Amazon videos are stored in the cloud, then if we are traveling or something, I’ll let them each choose a couple to download on the device to watch offline. Does that help? You have unlimited cloud storage
It does. But don’t you have to pay for cloud storage?
Can you buy Amazon instant video even if you are not prime members? Thanks in advance
Yes!
