When I activated the offer, I got ” We’ll cover up to $30 of return shipping costs for up to four eligible PayPal purchases worldwide until 1/31/16.” That date is already over. Maybe it’s only for certain accounts?

Great. I just activated through this link, then I went to my browser, logged in to PayPal and there’s no record of me activating this (nor does this show up in PayPal offers). 😳
I got the same message too at the *TOP* of the page (refund up to $30 each for up to 4 return transactions until 1/31/16). But when you scroll down it says up to 11 return transactions (up to $30 each) until 12/31/16.
How odd. Must be a typo. Thanks for sharing!
Okay so did you guys get an email confirmation once you activated this? Is it showing up in your PayPal activity log? I have no record of it …

I’ve actually tried to use this when they were doing it for Christmas. It’s more complicated then u would think. U literally have to take pictures of everything and receipts and stuff. Even though it should be recorded on PayPal that it’s been refunded and returned :/

I did this offer last year through eBay and found it to be quite easy.
They are two separate companies now (have been for a while). So that’s like saying I’ve returned stuff with Amazon and it was easy. Don’t want anyone to be surprised.
I was summit my receipt and shipping cost receipt yesterday ,got email said need to five days processed. I made purchased on Jan.28 , hope I can claim approve and get refund.
They needed a picture of the actual package with the return address on it which I didn’t know and didn’t have. they wanted a picture of the refund and receipt which I had. It’s dumb… I have been emailing them in the hopes they make an exception
I also used this offer in the past, and I did finally get a refund on return shipping, but it was a huge headache. Paypal had contracted the service out to someone else and even though I kept sending all the required information they kept denying it. I had to send a page at a time as PDF files of screen shots and I could not just forward emailed receipts even though I paid with paypal. They had no phone number so this was all done through emails. I hope Paypal is trying another service for those of you who try this.

I had this offer over the Christmas holiday. I submitted everything like they originally asked and got a denial email today. Now they want me to prove that I actually returned the package and that I ordered it in the beginning. It’s a lot more complicated than PayPal leads you to believe. All the information that want should be right there in my paypal account. It’s not worth the hassle for the $8 return shipping.
