Got these when you had a great deal on them before. They turned out great

    • Danielle

I got these and got my money back before. They turned out horrible. The pictures were glued onto boards crooked and they told me the stand was optional so I would need to let them know if I wanted it.

Shutterfly may cost more but the quality is second to none.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Glad to hear that Jamie!

    • riss

I, too, got these last time for $5 per piece on 8×10. Turned out really nice, except for 1, which I didn’t mind, coz of the 10 I ordered, 5 were free because I kept going back to Walgreens when I got emails saying it was ready for pick up, when it wasn’t. The 3rd time I went back, I finally got my second batch order of 5 for free!😊

I bought these for grandparents at Christmas and they turned out really cute!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So happy you can snag the savings Patty! YW!

Thanks! Got this before and loved them! I put them in my office at work and I’ve gotten so many inquires on them. I’m going to forward this to my coworkers.

so, for anyone who’s had them before…is this printed ON the wood itself, or is it a picture glued on the wood and varnished on top (like a modge-podge thing?) do you see the grain on the picture? can’t tell from the way it s presented…

      • Amy

It is a printed photo that is glued onto the wood block. I got one at the deal last year … I was pretty happy with it & used as a teacher gift at Xmas. When I went to pick it up, however, there was glue residue on the photo, and I pointed it out to the lady at the photo counter before I paid, and she quickly printed out another and made me a new one. So I would definitely suggest examining it first at the counter, and they should correct any issues right there. It is a cute item. :-).

        • Rae

I was hoping it was a real wood print with the grain I was so excited though I should have known it’s not since it’s Walgreens. The print glued to wood I could to that myself easy enough, and cheaper since we have so much extra wood.

      • riss

It’s glued to the wood. No grain showing. Mine turned out really nice.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Glad to hear it!

  5. Pat

I got these the last time there was a great deal. They turned out awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for your feedback Pat!

  6. Cathy

Got some at Christmas also, turned out nicer then I had expected! Not sure how they are made but the stand to hold them up was just a little wooden peg.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad you liked them Cathy!

  7. candace

I did a deal last fall where they were 75% off and gave them as christmas presents. I’d like to do it again but need newer pictures of my son taken. Turned out so well. I like that anyone could just put them up on a wall or display with the peg without needing a frame.

  8. Meea

I’ve ordered a couple of these and only one has turned out bad it was barely glued has bubbles all in it. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Sorry to hear one of them did not turn out well 🙁

  9. Brie

I got three of them last time when they were 75% off. One was perfect! One had a few bubbles/scratches. The other one was not good at all with lots of scratches and imperfections.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer. Thanks for your honest review Brie!

  10. Le

I got a few last time and they really didn’t turn out good. I guess it depends on the person putting them together. The paper edges of mine are kinda coming up.

  11. Jennifer

I ordered 3 of these around Christmas and LOVE them! I don’t buy school pics anymore. Instead, I purchase the CD and then print them at Walgreens for a fraction of the cost and can order cool stuff like this!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh cool!

  12. Lara

Thank you for posting- and thank you all for the reviews on them as i was wondering! We just did engagement photos, so this will be perfect to start printing some of them out!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How exciting! You’re welcome Lara! And congratulations! 😉

  13. cindy

Great idea to get school photos on cd then print elsewhere. So creative! I appreciate the tip!

  14. Kathy

I got these at 75% off last time. I bought pics of all the letters in our last name and had one letter on each 5×7 block. Now we have our name on a wall. I think they look awesome.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Such a great idea! Thanks for sharing Kathy!

  15. Elaine

I got them when they were 75%off. 2 our of 4 turned out really well and the other too not so much. I used pictures from my phone for all of them too.

  16. Melissa

I bought some of these in the past, and mine turned out great! But I do spend time editing my photos first. That makes a big difference.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great tip! Thanks for sharing!

  17. Kristine

I think ill just print a .25 picture myself and glue it to a piece of wood. That would cost less than $2. Thanks for everyone’s feedback so others know what to expect.

  18. clare

I bought 4 of the 8X10 panels this summer and set them up above my kitchen cabinets! It looks great! I wish I could post a photo 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sounds really nice Clare! Glad you could snag them!

  19. Angela

I ordered mine earlier today and just picked it up , I love it!!!! Thank you 🙂
