PlaytexAND, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for boxes with a FREE Supersoft Tee offer whenever you buy 2 specially marked boxes of Playtex Sport Pads, Liners or Combo Packs! Check out the photo and email I received from reader Angela –

A few months ago there was the Playtex liner/pad deal you posted. On some of the boxes they were offering a free shirt for buying two boxes, but the offer expired on 12/31/15. However, when I visited the site the promo was still up so I decided to try it anyway and I received the shirt today! I was so excited that I wanted to email them to thank them.

I went to the site and saw that they have extended the deadline to 5/31/2016! I do have to point out that the shirts really do run small (as stated on their site). I normally wear a medium and got a large and it is very fitted.

I just clicked on this topic to mention that I had been using tampons since I started having periods. For 10 years or so. A couple months ago I bought the cup. And my opinion is that it is alot better than using pads or tampons. It is safer and cleaner and less expensive. It is washable and can be reused every cycle. It is around d $50 where you can find it. I bought on amazon for 30 something I believe. Walgreens or rite Aid has it higher priced. I would definitely look into it if your using tampons. Especially after all the news stories coming up about Toxic shock syndrome in young women. It’s always happened but now more people are aware of it. I don’t feel it at all if you have it positioned right and also isn’t as disgusting as you would think. Now after using I can’t believe I used tamoons for that long. And if you’re a mom reading this I would see if your young daughters just starting would want to use it. Again much safer and that is the best thing about it.

You are so right! I am 35 and just started using the diva cup 3 months ago. I wish I tried it 20 years ago! It’s the best. If you’re not sure, read the thousands of reviews on Amazon.

I plan to introduce it to my teen daughter but I’m not sure she’ll be on board. There is a learning curve and you have to be comfortable getting “all in your business” lol

Make sure you boil it after every cycle. I have saved a ton of money using my cup and I love it. I just bought a few reusable panty liners called Luna pads to try. Anyone have experience with these? My cup doesn’t leak but I still use a panty liner just in case. I use to have to wear a tampon plus a big pad. Yuck!

I just donated all my tampon stash to the local food pantry. Love my menstral cup! Wish I had found it years ago. It was a big deal to get my close girlfriends to try it. Now they love it too!

Never got my tshirt…sent in for it about 2 months ago 🙁

Darn! Hoping you receive it soon!

This is a great deal Collin, thank you! And to add my 2 cents…I’ve never used tampons, always pads, b/c of my mother telling me about TSS so many years ago. It’s not always been ideal, but I commend the women who are now trying the cup as another method. I’m not brave enough to do it, but kudos to all of you who are saying goodbye to tampons and teaching your daughters to do the same. And PS–be mindful of new reports about talcum powder being toxic down there and causing ovarian cancers. Let’s be mindful and share info with each other!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome Bobbie!

  6. Lorell

Loved the DivaCup when I could use it. Now I can’t use it because of my IUD, so this tampon coupons are coming handy. Thanks Collin!

      You’re welcome!
