Does Ebates work with Staples at all?
I was able to use that free $5 that was sent out in an email a few days ago, so it’s like I’m getting it for $4.99!
How did you get the 5.00?
Yeah. Please tell. At that price snd these reviews. I might bite then.
Hi Judy! She is speaking of this Rewards offer. https://hip2save.com/2016/03/10/staples-rewards-members-possible-free-5-gift-reward-check-inbox/
Thank you! I guess I didn’t get any! 🙁
Awesome deal!
Any coupon to make this a free deal
has anyone used this brand before? how is it? reviews online seem to be mixed.
I have their 6sheet one from here on a deal for like $19 a few years ago. No issues on that one. Was debating a future back up with this but reviews are scary. lol
yeah the reviews seemed to be hit or miss :\ glad to know your other one lasted though!
I bought this about 4 years ago, at Staples, it was $25. I use this every 3-4 months to shred my junk mails, the pages that have my name, add, personal info. So far, it’s working alright. It’s loud and get heated easily. When it’s overheat, the light will go red and stop working automatically. So after 1 load full of shredded papers, I usually turn it off. After around 15 minutes, I turn it on again.
Yeah your only suppose to like 2 mins on em then a coil down. So that would explain your overheat. I stop before 2 mins. But glad it still works. Use mine more often but yeah.
I have this exact shredder and overall I’m happy with it. I use it mostly to shred mail and other important papers, so idk how it would do in an office setting or anything like that. My one complaint is that it doesn’t have automatic shutoff when fingers get too close like my old one did.
Did everyone get the free 5.00? What kind of email did you get?
We purchased two of these for $25-$30 each. Both of them are now broken. They didn’t even last a week! I would not recommend them and will never purchase anything made by Omnitech ever again! We don’t have a receipt or order number and contacting the Omnitech customer service is nearly impossible. Save your money! We have to pay even more to take them to the dump now. So disappointed. ALSO, FYI they claim to shred up to 10 sheets of paper but DO NOT believe it. They both jammed at 3-4 pieces of paper. Terrible quality….
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear they did not work well. Thanks so much for your honest feedback!
This shredder is not worth spending money. It worked for a month and then started smoking. Cheap but worthless!
Darn! 🙁 Thanks for sharing!
I have had one like this for several years. I use it on a daily basis. It works fantastic. Only problems I’ve ever had was my own fault (or my granddaughter’s) when it was overloaded and got paper stuck. I’m purchasing another for a family member.
Oh good! Happy to hear that Pam! Thanks for your review!
When I put this item in my cart, it is $54.99 before the rebate so after the rebate it is $39.99. How did you get it for $14.99? I don’t have the $5 cpn.
It appears that the deal has ended 🙁
