Hmm. At 50% off I will have to look but I will say whIle some reviews are great with this site, Ive only had o e experience, and Im not sure what I think. A month ago when you posted up about the credits and all, I joined looming for boys clothes and while most of the stuff was generally ok, but fairly well worn, one shirt had a few obvious stains on the front and one pair of shorts was so nasty looking, stains and caked on stuff all over, after washing twice still so bad I had to throw them out.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear that Sarah! Thanks so much for your honest feedback.

    • Elizabeth

FYI, I received a shirt that was marked as “good” condition but upon receiving it I noticed 3 small stains. I checked the website and it says they don’t do returns but to contact them with problems. I called the next day and the lady was super friendly and helpful and refunded me the price of the shirt. Excellent customer service. 90% of the stuff I have received has been awesome!

Thanks for the info. I just received a dress with a rip. I’m gonna try contacting them. It’s a bummer someone would even send that in to them

    • Amanda

I was just coming to say the same thing. Not much info given about the clothes and the pair of pink jeans I bought had a stain on the front although they were listed in good condition. Disappointing.

Has anyone had any issues with donations to Schoola? I sent in a very full bag of clothes (several new with tag items included) around Thanksgiving time for my kids’ school, but there seems to be no record of it at all when I do a search. I’ve emailed them and was told it takes awhile (I believe she said 8 weeks or so), but it has been well over 3 months. I would love to organize using this for our school, but am very nervous from this first experience so far.

    • Jackie

I’ve sent in a few bags of items, but it is very slow to list. They’ve made me a bit nervous. I’m curious how much the school receives after they deduct the shipping fees.

      • vmm

they deduct shipping fees? I didnt’ know that! doesn’t seem like such a good deal to send in 50# of clothes then even if they are very nice things 🙁

    • schoolablog

Hi Holly & Jackie, Turi here with Schoola. In the fall and over the holidays we had a tremendous outpouring of donations for schools, which is amazing. We are still catching up on a backlog of donations, and our customer care team should be able to look into your donations for you: hello@schoola.com. Thanks so much for donating to support your school! Turi

Anyone know if you can sort by size? Also, can anyone speak to the experience of buying boys pants from this site? Nervous I’ll get a pair with worn out knees…

    • schoolablog

Hi Sheila, Turi here from Schoola. When looking at the shop page on your desktop computer, you can sort by size on the left. All items’ conditions are marked; however, if you’re not satisfied when you receive an item, you can always reach out to customer care: hello@schoola.com. Thanks! Turi

I went through your link and no $20. No mention of it even, I get having a referral link but when it doesn’t do what you mention it will, I would look into it. It is a bit off putting.

    • Jenn

I think the credit shows up after you put things into your cart. Give it a try. I tried posting my referral link in a comment, but it seems like it’s not being published. 🙁 I would love some credit to clothe my 5 young kids!

    • saverjes

Yeah it showed up at the end for me. Like when I put my credit card info in

I haven’t ever donated any clothes, so I can’t speak for that issue, but I have “purchased” several times from them. Every time I’ve used credit, so I haven’t actually paid for anything, but everything I have received has been great! My clothes have all looked new, and two pair of shoes looked brand new too. If any one is interested in signing up, I’d really appreciate you using my referral code. You’ll get the $20 referral credit, plus a $10 credit if you create a collection. My favorite part is if you check out on your mobile device, there’s an option to pay with paypal. As long as you’re under your credit limit, you don’t actually have to sign into Paypal, so it’s one website your payment info is saved. Also, I’ve had really great customer service with them. Overall, a great company to do business with!

Hi, I used your referral, hopefully you’ll get the credit!!

I purchased some items the last time. Out if the 11 items…one pair if shorts had a bad grease like stain right on the front that was not disclosed…the others were great…with one kinda worn pair.

    Hths.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing your experience Kelsey!

  7. Caitlin

Thanks for posting this. I was able to score 5 items totally free. We’ll see about the condition though…I’d wish they’d put more effort into the pictures of the clothes or the description. But we’ll see. Free is free and my kids go through clothes so quickly.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  8. jenn
