Last time I went to Target they wouldn’t let me use more than one manufacturer coupon. The manager claimed if they have the same serial numbers they won’t allow it. They’ve always used them before for me. Is this a new policy for Target? Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks for any input:)

Hey Laurie, I had a similar issue with the diaper deal a couple weeks ago. I called corporate and they said for gift card promotions, you’re only allow to use one Target coupon, one manufacturer coupon, and one cartwheel for the promotion. So, since you have to buy 2 Tide to get a $5 gift card, they said it’s really consider only one item, that’s why you weren’t allow to use two manufacturer coupon. Does that make sense? Hahahha… Sorry if it doesn’t. I was confuse with it too and on the coupon policy, it doesn’t say anything about it either, unless I missed it. Hope this helps a little. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Nicole for the input. I wonder why it never used to be an issue before though. Thanks again for the explanation:)๐Ÿ˜€

I don’t think Target is making sense on that. The gift card is Target’s promotion. Manufacturer’s coupons are issued by the manufacturer and can be redeemed at other stores other than Target. It is somewhat like cash to lower our OOP cost.

I just had that issue at CVS this morning. I had 4 Olay bodywash coupons (2 IPs, and 2 from the PG). The cashier tells me I can only use 1 of each (IP & Insert) b/c the others are considered duplicates. I was like What?? I said I purchased 2 papers, each paper has PG insert, how is it a duplicate?? And it says right on the coupon Limit 4 Per Household Per Day. Then I showed my IP which has 2 different exp dates b/c I printed them a few days apart, so again, not a duplicate. And the dot code is different for each one!!
IDK what these cashiers are being misled about, but I was so annoyed with her and the manager, I just left my purchase. It’s not my usual store I shop, maybe once or twice a month. I only stopped there b/c it was close to Panera so I could pick up my free bagel!

AFA Target, I haven’t had any issues. I think the cashiers get confused with ‘limit one coupon per purchase’ and they think it means the transaction!

      • Cindy

        lol. That bagel cost you!

Wondering if the price is better than Costco ?

    • Ben

In my area, it is $16.99 for 170oz, so this deal works better. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • ๐Ÿ’Geeth๐Ÿ’

Oh ok thanks , have to check at my store

  3. mindy

Each of them has different serial number, you can point that out to them

    • Laurie

Thank you Mindy for the help:)

I have a $5 off $15 coupon , should the total be $15 after I used all the coupons or before using the coupons ?

    • Sarah

      Before.

    • Tiffany

HI Geeth. $15 before using the coupons. So you just make sure always give the coupons off the total to the cashier to scan first anh then any coupons else after that, because some cashiers will give you a hard time if you do the opposite.

      • ๐Ÿ’Geeth๐Ÿ’

        Thanks Tiffany

What do you consider a stock up price (per ounce) for liquid tide?

  6. Jen D

Ah bummer I already did the Walgreens deal this morning with the $1/1 tide Q’s. The $10 RR promo when you spend $30 on tide and charmin was a good enough deal that I decided to try wags again even though I MUCH prefer CVS. The cashier was terrible, she was waving the scanner over the barcodes like crazy and then complained that “these print at home coupons are the worst…” Well maybe if you held the scanner still over the barcode for a second! I told her I’d never had an issue with them scanning at CVS and she said OH, well that’s CVS for you… I hate wags!!!!

    • Campanita

If it makes you feel better, I think the Walgreens deal is better than CVS, usually the Tide that has Downey/Febreeze has only 37oz. at my CVS versus 46oz. at my Walgreens, and you are getting $5 in points for a $15 purchase. As for the attitude with the employees you are not alone, for me it depends on which cashier is on shift, One of the CVS close to my house gave me a really hard time (Pantene deal), and before I complained to Corporate I gave the manager a chance to fix the situation, I went to the store and talked to her, she offered me a gift card, asked me if I wanted to get the Pantene for free, WHICH I SAID “NO THANK YOU” all I want you to do is to train your employees to be more helpful to customers. The best one for me is RiteAid, and the worst is Target, it has been months close to a year that I have not step foot in there even thought is very close to my work.

      • Jen D

Yeah it definitely depends on the cashier, the funny thing is that these printable coupons were crystal clear (no white lines or smudges or anything, they looked PERFECT) – I shopped at CVS later in the afternoon and had some printables for a different deal that I was worried wouldn’t scan because I had been low on printer ink and the barcode was kind of faint, one scanned perfectly fine and the other the cashier entered manually – smiling and chitchatting with me the whole time! I’ll probably use the $10 RR I earned at wags and then just go back to CVSing. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it right? ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Craig

Crap! Since I try to max out my cheap paper deals we get from Staples, I put my paper back in the printer to get one more print (had 2 qs done). Well, forgot about it and printed 2 more on the back. 1 woulda been fine, but the doubled one just happened to be the $2 Tide one. uuugh. So yeah.
