What is a good price to pay per roll of TP, Collin? I’ve been spoiled since I got single rolls of Charmin at Meijer for $0.09 each not too long ago, so not sure if this deal is a good stock up price. Thanks in advance!
$4.99 for 16 double rolls of Charmin is pretty good. My general rule of thumb is $0.35 cent double rolls is good for a couple packs to hold me over for a steal, and $0.25 a double roll stock up till cows come home.
I have the extra 5,000 pts on my account.. so you would stay stock up on this deal? I have enough toilet paper to last us through the end of the year, haha, but like to stock up when a good deal comes around.

I buy toilet paper when it is between 20 cents and 35 cents for a double roll, but charmin isnt my favorite, and neither is cottonelle – they go too fast. I prefer scott.

I couldn’t believe my luck…I also had a printed out register reward from Walgreens (they usually just give you a contact lens deal) which stated I would receive 200 points per dollar spent on paper products. So, even though I did purchase $2 in candy, this was my point total:

Does anyone else have problems using Walgreen’s e-coupons? I tried loading some to my card to use for the P&G deal, and none came off at the register. I have had this happen a couple of times before too. I may just stay with paper from now on.
I just loaded some to my card, so hopefully I don’t come across the same issue. I’ll be going to Walgreens and let you know if it works.
I think the cashier has to select the offer on their screen. I’m not positive on that though. Or maybe your card isn’t linked properly to your online account.
I went to Wags today and bought 4 Charman packs @ $7.99 to get over $30 to get the 10,000 points. The not-so-helpful cashier said I could only use 1 $1 off printable ( I had 3). He said it was in the fine print which I don’t get. Does anyone know about this? Thanks!
The fine print on my coupon said limit of 4 like coupons per day (or per transaction not sure which). Sometimes they guess without reading so I usually try to look at my coupons before going to the register…you never know what they will say but if it is in black and white on the coupon then?
Usually P&G coupons have a limit of 4 identical coupons per transaction, so you should’ve been able to use all three. It must have just been an uninformed cashier who doesn’t know much about coupons. Next time you should talk to a manager and see if he’ll allow it. The one downside about coupons is that most places make up their own coupon rules, depending on whether they’re feeling nice or not…lol.

Very wrong. My cashier told me the system would only scan one but she manually entered the other 3 since she knew they were acceptable coupons to use. I rarely have problems at my Walgreens tho.
I’ve learned you have to ask for everything when you checkout. If you have e-coupons, you have to ask/remind the cashier about applying them. If you have points, ask the cashier to apply them, otherwise they won’t offer. On Senior Day, ask for the discount, because the cashier will not offer it.

I was just looking through my coupons and I have the $1.00 off one 12 ct or larger. The fine print does day limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated. Does that mean I can only use one coupon if I buy more than one pack? Thanks for any help, I am new to the couponing lifestyle! 🙂

But we get just 10000 points, to get the two rewards we should spend $30+$25, I learned this by the hard way.
No I did this deal today I bought 4 Charmin 7.99 each, took (4) $1/1 coupons off, received 10000 points plus the 5000 and my everyday points. My total was only 29.86 which means I paid .20 a roll after points value applied.

I did the same transaction today, 4 Charmin at 7.99 with 4 $1 coupons, and neither received the 5000 (I had 5000 points offer listed online as loaded to my card) nor the 10000 points. After wasting 30 minutes (the cashier had problems scanning coupons for some reason) and arguing with manager (he said that I shouldn’t have used my 4 coupons because I needed to spend the $30 after coupons) I decided to return everything. I left with a sour stomach and a sense of being cheated (he said he voided the transaction, but at home I realized I did not get any receipt showing that he voided my transaction and my credit card online does not show that the transaction was voided yet)
Where would I find the bonus point offer in my account if I received it? TIA.
I logged into my account on Walgreens.com and I could see the offer so i loaded it to my card.

So bummed that you can’t redeem and receive points in the same transaction! Anyone know if that is a general rule or if my store manager was making stuff up?
Can you do a 2nd transaction of the same deal and use your rewards to pay or does it take a while for the rewards to load?
