I don’t like the new program. With the current one, I buy 12 caramel macchiato for $45 to earn a free reward. With the new program I have to spend $62.5 to earn 125 stars for a free reward

Doaa, my drinks are about $10 apiece so I love the new program. I only have to buy 6ish drinks whereas before I was spending $120 just for a free one. This program makes much more sense business wise too.

What in the world do you order to have a $10 drink? Lol

      • Doaa

Wondering the same? Are there drinks for $10? And yes I know it makes more sense business wise. That’s why they’re doing it. People will have to spend more before they have to give them a free reward

        • Kelsey

Hey guys, this is late but my drinks are $10 because I order 7 shots of espresso.

    • Sara

It may not be so bad once the double star days start up… just like now when they offer star dashes where you can earn more stars, the new program has days where you can earn more stars per dollar spent.

      • Laura

I could’ve wrong-but double stars are for gold members now

    • Holly

I agree. I do not like the new program either. My thoughts exactly.

Does anyone know how it works with treat receipt if you use mobile ordering? I just mobile order my drink to pick it up and go, but you don’t get a receipt with it.

    • Sara

My app shows my receipt on the history page, I hope they use that.

How much are our points going to multiply by? Just want to know if I need to get out and get my stars up to 12 now if it’s only going to double them

    • Kim

They will multiply by 11. So if you have 10 stars it will convert to 110 points and you will need 15 more (or $7.50)

I dont’ like the new program. Hopefully they change it again if they receive enough negative feedback.

Doubt it. From what I’ve read it’s supposed to be part of a larger rewards program that’s in the works (think Plenti Points, where you can earn/spend at different stores) They are supposed to be offering a credit card, that you can earn additional stars as well. The only people that have complained are the ones that purchase $1-$2. Starbux won’t miss their business.
