My daughter just purchased Minecraft for her iPad yesterday. Can you tell me how to get the Store Mode Skin Pack?
If you are in the home screen of the iPad version of minecraft, there is a button under the PLAY button that says SKINS- it’s under there. The Story Mode ones come up locked like you have to buy them, but they are free once you enter your password to iTunes.
Great! My kids love Minecraft and are excited to get this version. 😄

Brenda, Minecraft is separate from Minecraft Story Mode. This is a skin pack for Story Mode.
Hmmm I don’t see the skins button on the IPad version….. Any help?
Just letting everyone know that Minecraft Story Mode and Minecraft are two separate games and you can’t get these skins in regular Minecraft, Story mode is an episodic game created by Telltale Games that is only appropriate for 10+ (official rating is E10+) , due to some mild language. 🙂

Actually according to my son who (I know nothing about this) who downloaded it, it is for the regular Minecraft Game and the Story Mode skins are a type of skin that are used within MInecraft. He has both games but said it is for Minecraft. Very confusing!
I downloaded the skin pack through the playstation store but can’t figure out how to get the skins to appear in the actual game. Does anyone know where to access the skins in story mode?
Ok just to try and help everyone out, here is what we just figured out. This is a “skin pack” for the regular Minecraft Game, but the “skins” look like the characters from the Minecraft Story Mode game. That will make sense to someone who plays hopefully.
We have an XBox One and we own the regular Minecraft game. (We also have the Minecraft Story Mode game but this freebie is not for that game actually). You need to go to the “Help and Options” section and then “Change Skin”.
Once you are there you can scroll through the “skin packs” until you find this one, it’s called “Story Mode Skin Pack”. Some of the skins are unlocked and some are not. So you will need to scroll to one of the locked figures (Petra for example) and act like you are going to buy it and it will say FREE for the cost. Once you “buy” it then the entire skin pack unlocks for you to use.

Thanks Stacy!! That makes sense. We also have both Minecraft and Minecraft Story Mode. We spent an hour trying to figure out where the skins were in Story Mode to no avail. My son was pretty disappointed and my husband and I were a bit puzzled. We will try this out on Minecraft tomorrow. Thanks again!!
