Are these chai lattes any good?

    • Ashley

I love it iced and mixed with vanilla almond milk.

    • Melloddie

      Yes, love these

    • Whitney

Yes, very good diluted in milk!

    • rose

If you like the taste of strong cinnamon / cardamon. I personally didn’t care for it, and I tried to fix it a variety of ways, but just couldn’t get past the taste.

I love chai lattes from Starbucks, but still have not been able to replicate it with any other brand, coffee chain, or product (or maybe I’m just attuned to the Starbucks taste by now). The Tazo concentrate is as close as I can get making it at home. My taste buds prefer more chai spice and no water, so with the Tazo concentrate, I mix one part milk (sometimes less) to three parts of the liquid, and a tad of vanilla flavor syrup. It’s a personal preference, and the taste and expectation isn’t spot on, but in my opinion it’s a close second, especially if you want to save some money and make it at home.

Tazo is the brand that Starbucks uses for their chai lattes so it’s definitely the closest taste you will find. 🙂

    • Whitney

Starbucks adds water to their concentrate of this unless you ask them not to. I also like a stronger chai flavor so I tell them to leave it as is and mix it with milk.

You are right…SB uses TAZO, I always order mine, Chai Latte No Water…some put water others don’t. This is a great deal, I just can’t print the coupon here at work 🙁

I should of waited for this deal. I bought the tazo passion to try and I really like it. I’m not even a tea drinker!

  4. Allison

Thanks for posting Collin! This is exactly what Starbucks uses. I worked there previously and can say that they only add water when you order chai hot. No water is added when you order it iced.

On one of the end caps I found Tazo chai vanilla Carmel latte carton for $1.64. Used the 10% off cartwheel offer bringing it to $1.47 and then used the $2/1 coupon for a great deal! In my target it was on an end cap near the milk and right before the pet items began.

  6. Gisette

Yes they are so good! I’ve been buying these for several years now!!! It’s as close to Starbucks as I can get:) I make one everyone morning 😁

  7. Gisette

I’ve never had a Starbucks put water in my iced chai tea latte… It has milk in it and then I have them put a couple pumps on vanilla syrup in it.
