I totally just bought this for my son for his birthday. I paid closer to $40 for it. It is one of the best presents I have ever bought him. He is 7 and into tv and video games. I tried to find him a gift that would work him away for electronic devices. This is it. It has pre-made slides which are cool. It also has blank slides. It really put his brain at work. He is interested in learning about bugs and things that he couldn’t really see before the microscope. Moms, if you buy this you won’t regret it!

My daughter got this for her 8th birthday in December. It’s still going strong. She uses it at least a handful of times every month and her friends love it too. It is not flimsy and is pretty sturdy. I was surprised. I see it lasting her awhile! Definitely a great buy!
