We called Amazon again this evening. The $15 credit does show up as a valid payment options, BUT when buying items “sold by Amazon AND fulfilled by Amazon”.
just a heads up to anyone who got the $15 credit and are trying to find products, type in AmazonBasics to the search box and you can see all the products that are sold+shipped+fulfilled by Amazon and if you order them low to high price range option, you can find stuff for less than $15. after many failed attempts, wasted time, frustration, calling amazon…hope this helps someone 🙂
