Idk how good this stuff is, but Aldi has cheap wine. Some as low as $2.99 a bottle. I’m sure selection varies based on location. We happen to have some pretty decent local vineyards and Aldi always has the best price.
Oh cool! Thanks for the feedback Katrina! Good to know!
Can someone tell me please…. Would this be good to get for a big party I’m planning? What wines should I select. The mixed case or all whites or all reds? Please help. I do not drink wine but want to provide for my guests.
I would say mixed case for sure!
Thanks Elaine & Layla 😊
I would think it would be great, get an assortment.
I’m confused. Title says 12 bottles for $35 but the description says 6. Sorry, confused.
Whoops! Sorry for the confusion Helen! It is 6 bottles! Just updated!
Collin- is it 6 or 12 bottles?
That’s what I was wondering! 12 bottles would make this an awesome deal!!
Hi Elaine! The deal is for 6 bottles. Just updated!
This is 6 bottles or 12? 6 seems more reasonable but of course it it is 12 I can’t pass this up
The deal is for 6 bottles. Thanks for catching! Just updated!
It’s six
Is it for 12 bottles? Or 6? If it’s 12 that’s a heck of a fine deal!!
How much would something like this normally cost? Is it a good deal for the quality of wine?
I just got the mixed case of 6 for 35, it gave me the option of getting 12 for $30 more, which would have made them $5.41 a bottle – great deal…im kind if regretting not getting the 12..
Thanks, Collin!!
You’re very welcome!
Love my vino! If anyone is near a Trader Joe’s try their “two buck chuck.” We used to live in San Diego and loved it (it was $1.99 there back in the day). I would so love to get to an area where they have two buck chuck. Miss it. I do the Aldi’s version now (Winking Owl), which is good as well for an every day kinda wine.
I think it’s 3 buck chuck now!
Oh, no! Inflation!
I have ordered from them before (with a groupon) and got 15 bottles and was very happy with the quality. I did not get california wines (got italian) so i can’t comment on the quality of this batch but I was happy with what i got.
Glad to hear that Julia! Thanks for the feedback!
Just ordered for my hubby’s birthday this month. I normally buy him the Winking Owl brand from Aldi which he says is very good for the price but this will be a nice treat for him. Thank you!!
So glad you could score the deal Jill! You’re very welcome!
Anyone else have trouble getting the check out to work? I have all green checks and it does nothing when I hit submit.
I’m a little worried. I just ordered the mixed case then I saw not so good reviews. The worse thing I had it shipped to a friend. I will be so embarrassed if the wine stinks and will be disappointed in Hip2Save. I have never been disappointed in any deal I got from their site.
If you click on the “tasting notes”, you’ll see that many of the wines have won awards, so I can’t imagine they are going to be bed. Plus, the company would like to create repeat customers. I’m sure your friend will be happy that you thought of them.
Got my shipment in today (ordered on 5/1). I am one happy camper – so much that I ordered more :-). Already opened up one of the reds (Gejas Private Reserve Big Bold Red), used some for cooking and the rest for enjoyment. Well worth the price and they would make great gifts too.
