I saw where there may be a $25 AMEX statement credit when you purchase a new membership for at least $45. Of course, you would have to have that partcular offer in your account and be sure to load it to your card
Where do you put the Discover Card code if you do it online in order to get both deals? My discover card page says bring printed offer.
And it says right in the fine print, cannot be used online so I do not see how both the Discover and online deal can actually be combined.
Let me clarify, log in to your Discover account. Click on Discover Deals. In the search box enter Sam’s Club. You should have 2 offers in there. One for 5% back when you shop through the link, another for the up to $25 Sam’s Club gift card when you renew your membership. Click on that one and print your voucher to take to the membership desk at Sams. Do not renew online. I believe the link posted for the $10 gift card includes a voucher that can be taken to the membership desk too and used when you renew your membership. Give both vouchers to the associate and collect your $35. Just did it last November, worked perfectly since one is an offer from Discover and the other from Sam’s Club.
Jennifer, I renewed in store. Print and take both vouchers with you. They did allow both since only one of them is from Sam’s Club. I had no issues, and I also used my Rewards $$ to pay for my membership. (Plus Membership that I got on a groupon a few years ago that’s paid for itself since then.)
Ok, thank you… I felt like the post made it seem to have been done all online because of the first offer. I’ll try in store.
Actually, now that I look at the deal posted and what I was emailed, I am not going to bother. The one Collin posted (and came to my email) says only for new/renewals online so I don’t want to go thru the effort in store to just get denied at since it says right there online sign ups only.
Darn, that does look like it’s online only. Maybe they’re be one redeemable in store soon.
Also, if you have a Chase Freedom card, they are offering 5% cash back on grocery store and warehouse clubs this quarter on up to $1500 in purchases. That’s totally free money ($75) on things we HAVE to buy, we all have to eat. 😀 ( No annual fee and avoid interest charges by paying your bill in full every month)
My sam’s club doesn’t take visa. They do at the gas pumps but not in the store. I guess some sam’s take visa otherwise this would be a useless category to get 5% back.
Mine just started accepting Visa, you might want to call yours and ask if they do now. The news release said they were to start accepting Visa in Feb of 2016.

I am a Sams Savings member so I got $10 back with the Discover Deal.
I was due to renew in a few days and so I renewed with this offer (instead of in-store) and received the $10 gift card. We were in need of water bottles, so with the $10 gift card, I essentially got 64 water bottles for FREE! THANK YOU!
