Do these work for longer hair? My daughters hair is down to her waist. Won’t she have hair hanging out? Has anyone used these what’s your opinion on them?

    • Arianne

Rebecca, I bought these several years ago. The orange ones are longer than the pink ones. Even with my long hair, I didn’t have a problem with the ends sticking out.
If you look closely at Collin’s friend, you can see that her hair is nowhere near the bottoms when they’re in the spiral. I have very fine, pin straight hair and found that when I used thicker portions in each spiral it worked better. (Versus smaller portions that produced not-very-spiraly stringy messes). The hook broke though a month or so after my purchase which renders the whole system useless! ☹️

You can buy the hooks separate. Just fyi.

Omg at first I thought she was holding a carrot lol.

And, me! I wondered what she was doing with a carrot!

      LOL! 😉

I use these on my daughter weekly. You can double them up if you have longer hair. They work best after the shower with wet hair and then she sleeps in them (kids can do that stuff, I sure can’t) and then she has mega tight curls in the morning. They last most of the day with some hair spray.

I’m interested but don’t understand the directions ;/

we use a little mouse or gel in the hair before we put them in. It helps keep the curl a little longer.

They have a setting lotion at beauty supply stores that beauticians use on older women’s hairs when they set them with curlers. Works like a champ to make curls last all day

I did pull up a few how to videos on YouTube. It looks like you use small sections of hair and then using the hook, you pull the hair section through the center of the magic curl ( it’s like a tube) and then it springs back into the curl shape.

How to use these??? Is the motion like twirling a strand of hair around your finger???

  11. Sarah

These look sooo sweet!!! I have long straight/wavy hair so I might have to give it a go!

  12. Nikki

This link on eBay has them for $16.70 with free shipping. I’ve never seen them before but think I’ll get them for my girls! Love this site!! https://r.ebay.com/NFFT1Y

These work great but I can’t sleep in them. Too bulky! And I’m not wearing them around the house for hours on end either.
