I’ve always loved shopping at target, but I’m very disappointed with their recent announcement to allow men into the women’s bathrooms and changing rooms! I will be bycotting by not shopping there anymore. Just an fyi for others that hadn’t heard and that would be concerned about this!
Collin, love, love this site and all the deals you post! You have been such a blessing and saved my family so much money over the last 7+ years I’ve followed your blog! THANK YOU!!!!

    • Jess

We will balance each other out. Their inclusivity and support will lead me to shop there more. Cheers!

      • Maria

Agreed, Jess! We need more tolerance in this country. Try to have a little empathy for others, Faith. A person born as a man identifying themselves as a woman is not going to be sexually interested in you anyway.

        • holly

More worried about sickos pretending to be transgender to peek at girls.

          • R

same here, it wont be hard to pretend… and its not like someone can challenge you or bring out a life history to prove otherwise…

    • Misti

what in the world are you talking about? Men are allowed in the women’s restrooms?

    • Andrea

In many other countries they do not have one rest room for men and one for women.I can understand you may have some concerns if you have young children but now you can go into the rest room with them.

    • Cassandra

Not sure how this relates to couponing. Seems totally unnecessary. Just saying. 😊

    • Elise

lol, fr? Get outta here! Kudos to you and your perfection! Meanwhile, in other news, those who judge, WILL BE JUDGED! Regardless, I pray your ignorance is lost!!!

    • Bella

Last time I checked women’s restrooms are set up in stall form so I don’t see the problem. Go in the bathroom and do your business like normal. If someone of any gender is bold enough to walk in the bathroom and do something harmful, they would do it anyway change or no change.

    • Katrina

If it bothers you THAT much, there’s still the family restroom. Why do you care who you urinate next to?

  2. CountrySomethin

If you are boycotting Target, I saw a Pledge you can sign at afa dot net. When I signed it this morning, it was at 213k people…now close to 270k! I don’t know what they were thinking…could have just as easily made several individual stalls instead of this nonsense!

    • Kristy

      Agree.

    • Faith

Agreed, and yes I have signed:)

    • Lindsay

      So agree!

  3. Kati

Watch for specially marked Quaker granola bars. They have $5 off Finding Dory movie tickets at Fandago. Limit 5 coupon codes.

  4. Darcie

Does this include any products of the listed brands, or only specific products? TIA

  5. Marie

SIGN THE BOYCOTT TARGET PLEDGE ! Protect women & children !!!

    • Joni

Get out of here, I go in the men’s room when the women’s room are filthy or crowded so what difference does it really make. And I’m not worried in the least of some transgender person bothering me in a bathroom. Or some pervert for that matter, I can scream and I can fight. And FYI, perverts can sneak into a women’s bathroom and hide if they really want to get someone, happens more than you think. If you are so worried about being attacked, avoid public restrooms because you are not really safe in public these days anyway.

  6. Cindy

I wouldn’t say it is men allowed in women’s restrooms. It’s called unisex restrooms and changing rooms. Also there are stalls so there is still privacy. … On the safety factor, declaring it a unisex bathroom doesn’t increase any risk to safety. A creeper is going to creep no matter what this won’t change that. … A teenage girl in Delaware was just murdered in a women’s bathroom brawl with all teenage girls present. So get outta here with your boycott nonsense.

  7. Feng

You can call target to express your disappointment also there are links for you to vote against this action on web

  8. candace

Plus I’m going to throw this idea out there. The transgender community is one of the groups who RECEIVES the most violent/sexual aggression. Literally have never heard one story of someone trans attacking or doing anything to the other sex or children in a shared bathroom.

    • Katrina

      Good point!

    • holly

It’s the child molesters and rapists pretending to be transgender that she’s worried about.

  9. illjustwingit

I could almost bet that you’ve shared a bathroom/ changing room with a transgender and you didn’t even know it.
If it’s a cross dresser and you can tell… That’s creepy.
People are so quick to judge others… Kinda sad really. If it’s not this, it’s something else.

    • Faith

Actually I’m not judging anyone, just standing for something I believe in:)

      • Aaron

nice way to say YOURE JUDGING SOMEONE 😉

  10. Emulvey2001

    Well this escalated quickly……..

  11. Chrissy

If it’s the child molesters and rapists you’re worried about, those sick and disturbed people are usually the ones closest to the child. In fact, 90 percent of abusers target children in their own families and children who they know well.

    • Cathy

Well then it’s the other 10% I’m worried about and that’s pretty high statistics I’m not taking chances with my children.

      • Chrissy

I can’t ever recall a time when I let my young child use a public restroom alone. Just go to the bathroom with your kids and that should solve the problem. It’s good to be cautious but you can’t live life in fear of everything or everyone that’s different.

  12. Cathy

Well I have to add my two cents I’ve seen this topic on several different places on the Internet today and so far what I see our most of the people who are not in favor of this are being bashed by everybody else. everybody’s allowed to their own opinion. Also I see a lot of people saying if you don’t like it you can just go into the family restroom it seems to me that perhaps that’s what the transgender population should do because they are much smaller population than the people who are uncomfortable with this so I don’t see why they can’t just continue to use the family restroom.

    • Christopher Wilson

People are telling you to use the family bathroom because you want to discriminate against innocent people because of your fear. Transgender people just want to use the restroom they feel comfortable, not kick a certain type of person out of it.

If you can’t see why your opinion is hateful than thats on you, but dressing up and claiming you’re transgender isn’t some common thing, just something made up by those afraid of people who are different than them.

  13. Renee

Oh my. I thought this was a post about a good deal at Target. If you have issues with Target, why not take it somewhere relevant???

Anyway, just to let everyone know, with this giftcard deal, it is a mobile or paper coupon in the weekly ad, so you can only do this one. It is like any other mobile or ad coupon – one per guest.

    • mel

Just wanted to comment, that you can most certainly do this deal multiple times as long as you have multiple coupons. My sister is having a house party at the end of May. She did 4 transactions yesterday, rolling her GCs. She used 1 mobile cpn and 3 ad cpns. She stocked up on Pepsi & chips.

      • Renee

Well you see, these coupons say one per guest. So, that’s a way around the rules, but technically, you are allotted one. I mean anyone can take a bunch of ads, I suppose, but it’s not really the coupon policy.
