Can anyone give some feedback on these? Is it worth the money? Do your kids actually play with it? And is the plastic one with the seatbelts a better idea?
LOVE THIS! been using ours forever!
My sister and I had one when we were growing up (so it is at least 30 years old). I think my kids have used it more than we did! I used to love pulling them in it when they were small and now they ride down our back yard hill in it. Unfortunately, my kids forget to put it in the shed when they are done and it has gotten rained on quite a bit. Plastic one would probably hold up better in weather.
We had this and it got destroyed with older kids playing with it. It’s not very durable for kids to horse around with. Cheap flimsy wood on the bottom. Also the nuts and bolts wiggled loose and fell off after several tours of the neighborhood. We are having much better luck with the red plastic version, also by Radio Flyer. Kids love the flip-up seat also. No splinters.
I would recommend getting one with the seat belts as my son fell out of our wagon and has a permanent scar on his forehead from it now. I need to just get rid of ours as I never intend to use it again.
