Does anyone know how these work? We have disney infinity and some of the characters. Do you need the zootopia characters in order for the zootopia power discs to work? My son is just 4, but loves disney infinity. Trying to think ahead for stocking stuffers!
You can use the discs as power ups and you don’t have to have the matching character at all … Say the disc is Mickey Mouses car and you’re playing with Donald character. Well then Donald can drive around in the Mickey Mouse car … It’s cute my boys are 2 8 & 12 and they love this !

i don’t believe you need to have specific characters to use the discs and go to different worlds. But, note that this is for Disney Infiniti 3.0. We have the 2.0 in our home, so we have to purchase the game download at https://infinity.disney.com/getting-started or purchase a starter kit in order to use the 3.0 discs and characters.
We do have 3.0 so I think I will pick this up! Thanks a bunch!
nice. i believe they are backwards compatible but not forward compatible, so you should be able to use some of the earlier released characters if you see a deal on them 🙂
I use these as rewards for my 6 yo, so finding a good deal is a must! I had ordered the Zootopia and Marvel Battlegrounds from Best Buy last week when they were B1G1, when I went to pick them up today the price auto-adjusted to $1.99 and gave the B1G1! Both packs for $2.12!
