Check out why Hip2Save readers love this cart:

I have 2 of these carts! I have never had an issue with tightening anything or drawers falling off the track but they are not meant for heavy items. I have in mine in each drawer: coupon printing paper, ink cartridges, a box of screws and nails, lightbulbs, vacuum bags, baby wipes, etc. The second cart is in my bathroom with facial wipes, lotions, razors, makeup, hand soaps/lotions combs, shampoos, toothpaste/toothbrushes. I paid $49.99 at Michael’s on sale so this is a great deal.

I have three carts like this and I love them! We use it for arts and crafts activities in one room, school supplies in another and miscellaneous things in the third. I’ve never had trouble with them.

I bought this cart last year and love it. I keep all my scrapbook supplies there and have never had a problem, the only bad thing us that it won’t fit large scrapbook papers.

my michaels in mentor, ohio is totally out of stock but they said I could get a rain check. Cool thank you for posting

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! Glad you can score the rain check Denise! YW!

  2. Sarah

Anyone know if the frame is metal or plastic?

    • Niki

      It’s metal

    • LS

      Sarah, it’s lightweight metal. HTH

  3. LS

I have one of these. I’m not a big fan of it. I have lightweight items in it, such as facial wipes, etc. The drawers constantly come off the track. My sister bought this for me … I hope she didn’t pay $79.99! IMHO, I wouldn’t even pay $29.99. But, that’s just my opinion. I’m happy to hear that this drawer set has worked well for other people.

    • Samantha Dominik

I agree, I have one as well and thewy’re always sliding off the track. The drawers are very shallow too.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks so much for the honest review!

highly suggest checking out office depot (online & in store) for the Really Useful Storage Box brand rolling carts! they’re expensive & I’d NEVER even consider buying 1 at full price, however, if you apply a coupon (& the boxes of that brand go on sale B2G1 free approx 4-6 times/yr…not sure yet if sale will apply to carts too). Very high quality & durable materials, easy to operate even with heavy items in drawers, & they’re fully enclosed so that items inside don’t collect dust. Not 100% sure if drawers are right size for scrapbook paper, but definitely work well for copy paper, cardstock, etc.

Just so you know SAMs club sells these for 24.99. Every day

    • denise

Hi Jenn would they make me buy a membership for purchasing just this one item from Sams club? not sure that would be worth it to me I never shop there nor do I wish to

      • Jenn

You have to have a membership but if you know somebody you can use their card. You might want to call customer service and see if the member buys a cash card for you for there if you can use it without a membership all Cosco does that.

        • denise

          thank you jen

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Jenn! Did you find them in store? I am not finding them available from Sams online.

    • Brianna

I’m curious also if they are in stores. I can only order online which charges $7.91 shipping. Thanks!

  5. Kim

Shopko has a black drawer one online for 29.99.

  6. Emily

Does anyone use this to store kid toys? I’m debating buying one to sort my sons’ Hotwheels, Playmobil, and blocks….not sure if it is sturdy enough for those things.

    • Rachel

I really like that idea! I use it for my Jamberry business and it works great! I really like it!

    • Anne26

Unfortunately, it definitely would not hold toys. My drawers come off the tracks all the time and I have scrapbook supplies (paper, stickers, etc.) in them. 🙁

  7. Jen

I actually got 2 of these at my Michaels for $19.99 on clearance yesterday so you may get an even better deal 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh wow! Sweet find Jen!

I bought mine at Michael’s as well and instantly regretted my decision. It can only carry lightweight things, as it is lightweight itself. I wanted to use it for inserts I haven’t cut or samples but I cannot. It is not worth more than $15. Also if you pull the drawers too far out they pop off the metal hinges and you have to remove the drawer and finagle the drawer back into the metal slides. The drawer could be empty and still it pops out. I am now using it for pens, post its, and crafty yarn and such.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Sorry to hear it does not hold up well to heavier items. Thanks for the honest feedback!

just bought this online at Michael’s. I went through topcashback and got 4%. Also signed up for first time purchase on there website and got an extra 20% off. Shipping was brutle. it came to 33 bucks with some odd change . that’s what I would have paid if I drove to store but this comes shipped to my house so I think it was a good deal. Thanks Collin

This is on amazon right now, same item for 35.16 with prime

I have a love and hate relationship…right now it’s tolerated sitting in corner holding our misc stuff. Pros: organizational tool with plenty of drawers, holds light to fairly heavy (as long as you don’t move them too much), and looks pretty good. Cons: collects dust because of openings, drawers tend to slump down to each other so you constantly have to adjust (so trick is to not move it so much nor have kids use them so much). I got mine from Sam’s for $15-$20 I think?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the honest review!

  12. Chris

Is it big enough to hold 12×12 scrapbook paper?

  13. riss

Is this the same cart posted above from Shopko.com for $24.99?
