Love this brand of cards. I buy them all the time at target.

So awesome, thank you!! Have had my eye on one of their cards for my MIL but was a total budget buster, this is a great blessing!

  4. KM

Thanks! Anyone know what the exclusions are? I can’t find it.

    • Sarah

At my local store, the exclusion was that I had to buy another card! Really cheap of them. I walked out.

  5. K

How do you use this at a place such as target?

    • Jennifer

You use it at Papyrus stores.

  6. Christi + S

    That was easy! Thanks Collin!

I can’t seem to get it… it says ‘service access denied’

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I am still finding the text offer to work for me. Maybe restart your phone and try again. Or reply STOP, then resend XOXO. Hope that helps!

  12. Sarah

Collin! This deal is so misleading! I went into the store and they told me that the “exclusion” is that I had to buy another card!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Thanks for the feedback Sarah! Just updated!

Hi Collin, it worked for me. Thank you!!! I went to Papyrus today, picked out a card and showed my text offer. She punched a bunch of keys on the register, put the card and the receipt in a bag and that was it. My receipt shows the card value, then a discount under “mobile text offer” and finally a zero balance. Maybe I got lucky?

    • WMarie

JD, Please share the location you visited. Thanks

      • Pearl

I had no issues redeeming the offer at Towson Mall, Maryland. I got a free card, no strings attached.

  14. Veronica

I was told it was free with any purchase. So I was able to buy my mother-in-law a gift and get a free card to go with it. Thanks for the tip!

  15. Nancy!

Whole Foods Market sells Papyrus and I doubt if they require and add’l purchase.

  16. Valerie

Went to my local CT Papyrus Greeting Card. Showed them the text message on my phone and they said that I got one free card up to $8.00. Never spent that much on a card before so I was totally shocked. Got one for $6+ though. Didn’t have to purchase any other merchandise. Today I received an email though from them offering me another free card but that coupon clearly states with purchase.

  17. WMarie

Didn’t work for me either. When I ask was there a limit/maximum for the free card offer the cashier/salesperson responded “we’re not doing that offer anymore”. I showed her the Free Offer and she then claimed I need to make a purchase in order to get the Free Card. I didn’t feel like being annoyed. Otherwise,!i would of ask for a manager. However, I believe she was incorrect about having to make a purchase. I believe that requirement is for the free card when you sign up for an account, which was posted all around the cards.

    • Pearl

I agree – it sounds like there are 2 separate promos going on – a BOGO and a free card offer, which Collin posted above. I had no issues getting the free card offer – my store associate (seemed like a manager) was generally knowledgable about the store.

  18. Crystal wauna

I tried to redeem the offer and was told I had to make a purchase to get the free card. This sucks as my sister last week was able to walk in and get a free card with no purchase. Edina MN is where I went.
