Can you NOT use the $2/2 coupon on the purchase of two (buy one, get one) packages? I read the Rite Aid policy and it isn’t really clear to me. Would be cheaper per unit if you only had to buy two…. it does say Customers can use up to two coupons with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion, provided the total value of the coupons does not exceed the selling price of the two items combined.

I’ve never had an issue using a $x/2 coupon when the sale is BOGO Free . . .

you’re not supposed to , but the register will accept, unless you have a cashier that scrutinizes all your coupons. The policy says ‘A customer can use one “cents off” coupon (a coupon of fixed value such as $.50, $1.25, etc.) in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion..’
Basically it’s saying that the coupon value can only be off one, as that will apply to the item being purchased. However, I’ve had l2c coupons apply when doing a deal like Collin has written above, to buy 4 so the off 2 attaches to the full priced items, then the l2c attaches to the free items.

Thanks Mel, for some reason I thought that as long as you were using an $x/2 coupon it met the coupon policy for BOGOFree deals… I try to follow the policy, but guess I mis-read that one!
