We have this ice cream maker and love it! It is a bit loud when turning the ice cream but you only have to have it turned on for 20-30 min. unattended. This is a great price. We paid much more than this.

Is it fairly easy to make ice cream? Meaning ingredients and creating different flavors of ice cream? I’ve never made ice cream. This would be fun to have at our cabin.

Great maker, but if you can’t get it or don’t want to pay quite so much, try Goodwill. These are often wedding gifts that go unused/unwanted and eventually end up there. I don’t shop there much, but every time I’ve been there (couple times a year, max), they have like-new ice cream makers, usually still in boxes. I got a brand-new Cuisinart ice cream/yogurt maker for $8. Works great, and the price is right for making homemade ice cream a few times a year. I would not have purchased an ice cream maker otherwise, but for $8, it is totally worth it to me.
