Remember with the Clean Care you have to leave your contact lenses in solution for a FULL 8 hrs. before putting in your eyes. This product uses hydrogen peroxide and will cause harm to your eyes. The Opti-Free is an overnight with no time restraints like the Clean Care. I would say a minimum of 5 hrs. to leave your contacts in solution to get a good clean and to remove proteins.

My husband has used Clear Care for over 20 years every night to clean his contacts. It hasn’t caused any harm to his eyes. Just wanted to put out there actual experience using the product.
Minimum of 6 hours is what my Clear Care says. I love this solution!!
