Just checked out trip advisor………………some really scary reviews. Still spending a lot of money. Not beach front………..and the deal may not be as presented. Sounds like you are paying for air and a hotel. The hotel is not on the beach and the beach club is a ten minute walk w/limited loungers, etc. Just check it out first, so you aren’t disappointed.

I would love to give it go but I don’t think I can get a passport in time for the dates given.

The best way to get super low cruise prices is to be willing to go extremely last minute. Capitalizing on those last minute bookings can be a great way to get extremely discounted prices.
