  It is chalk, but it comes in bright colors and it is liquid, that means it is for old fashioned black boards. I have the dust of regular chalk! Thank you Collin, got one!

   These also work on windows and mirrors. Any non porous surface. I use them for leaving birthday messages/decorating on mirrors and my granddaughter loves drawing on my sunroom windows with them too. I think I’ll let her try them on the refrigerator next.

  How do you erase them? Just with a cloth or chalkboard eraser?

  I use a damp microfiber cloth because the markers stay on better than typical chalk. If there is an extra stubborn spot, use a damp Magic Eraser. Have fun writing and crafting! Hope this helped.
