Can you explain to this technically challenged person how the “wifi” works please? Does that mean you have to connect to Internet or it has wifi built in?
You have to connect to a wifi source in order to use the internet. Some ipads are able to be connected through a service provider.. Like att.. Then you would pay for data per month from the service provider(similar to a cell phone). When it says wifi only, this is not an option.
My 2 cents. If you’re new to technology – you would be ok with a cheaper iPad model. iPad mini perhaps which is around $200
