Kohl's If the Bra Fits Event

Did you know that 80% of women wear the wrong bra size?

Through May 22nd, Kohl’s is offering up free professional bra fittings. To find a participating Kohl’s store near you, head here and choose your state from the drop down menu.

You might be wearing the wrong bra size if the cups wrinkle, you spill over the top or side of the cups, the center of the bra doesn’t rest flat against your breastbone and/or the band rides up your back.

Hey nursing ladies. I just wanted to say when I was nursing my first I used wired bras then read about blocked ducts then went to these type of bras but my breasts weren’t the same after. I’ve been using wired bras for second and third just make sure to unclog blocked ducts by massaging while baby is on. I do still like to unwind at night or on a a lazy day so I’m going to get one of these. Thanks hip2save!

Glad you can snag one Liz! And thanks for the helpful feedback!

If your looking for lift assuming that’s why you like to use wired bras, I can relate I found bravado bliss nursing bras give me lots of lift and they are wireless and smooth under t shirts. Motherhood bras do not give me any lift or support. I can’t risk wearing wired bras as I get clogged very easily.

Good to know! My motherhood ones are just okay. Still nursing with one on the way after Thanksgiving. I’ve been trying to not buy new/quality nursing bras for 4 years thinking i would be done soon! Ha! Guess this time I’m going to buy quality. Thank you!

    • Carla

So what exactly are you saying? Wearing a wired bra helps the appearance after nursing??

      • Linda

I am not sure either just assuming maybe they got deflated after first and wired helps her to get a lift. Lol Idk. But like I said I don’t know why put yourself through getting clogged and then having to go through the massaging and pain just for the sake of wearing a wired bra. Not me.

      • Liz Ob

Yes it helped my breasts stay in shape. I only wore loose sporty nursing bras with first and got clogged ducts but my second and third only wired and I haven’t had one. It’s all up to the individual. Also work out your chest muscles as soon as you can that really helps them get back in shape

Bravado has amazing nursing tanks with excellent support , so you don’t expose your belly when you are nursing

New Kohl’s card holder here if I have mailed 10/10 how does that affect the price?

    • Just Me

The $10 is taken off first. Next 30% is taken off the remaining amount. If you don’t use your card, you won’t get free shipping unless you use the store kiosk or the app while logged on to the store wifi ( some ppl can get it in the parking lot).

Non kohls card members – if you have a discover card, you may want to check your discover deals. I had $10 off kohls online order if I paid with discover card and 5% cash back! You can use this with the kohls promos for an awesome deal 🙂

Ii bought a couple of these bras when nursing my first baby and still using them. When pregnant i was using medium bralletes and 36C bras, but I assumed my breasts will grow so choose a size large and they fit me right.. not big or small , just right. They are very comfortable and easy to use when breastfeeding. I just had 2 s ok I got 2 more. I would recommend not to buy white color because it will get breastmilk stains and they will not come off even after using bleach. I hope that helps!

You can absolutely wear a wired nursing bra. Im a tandem nursing mother in a 36j (uk) bra. A wire is a must for me and in my 3+ years of nursing I have had zero plugged ducts. As long as your entire breast tissue is enclosed in the bra you wont have issues. Purchase underwire nursing bras after 12w postpartum, and get refitted often as your breasts change. They work hard for our babies, treat them kindly 🙂

I think every nursing mom’s experience is different. I have nursed five children (tandem and extended nursing). For my first four, I used LLL underwire bras. Great support & no lines showing under t-shirts. However, with my current little nursing one, underwire bras have not worked at all! I have had one plugged duct after another and four of the times it turned into mastitis. He was not able to drain all the milk ducts and my OBGyn said that it was probably due to the underwire. I am no longer using underwire bras and while I hate the sagging (what do I expect after five kids 😄). I am not going to chance another reoccurrence of plugged ducts or mastitis.

I just got 2 for my daughter in law!! She already has one and loves it!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing Kelly!

I ordered one of these bras a couple of months ago and I LOVE it. This is a great deal

On a side note and a mother of 6 with the 7th on the way I have been researching the reason there has been so many cases of cancer arising and so quickly. If you are interested “the truth about cancer” website and Facebook page will provide more detail but there have been many cased that have linked breast cancer to wire bras. I personally am not going to take the chance anymore nursing or not and would highly recommend visiting their site it has been an eye opener on many issues linked to cancer.

    • Liz Ob

Sounds like a smear campaign. Makeup and deodorant has so many chemicals that cause cancer. Bras that i have are made of cotton and a metal wire. What’s cancerous about that. The website you’re talking about looks like a terrible setup. The same chemicals that go into paint are going into makeup.

      • Christine

Everyone has a right to their own opinion and choice and yes make up is not great either but we were talking about bras and yes the wire cuts off circulation. I commented to maybe help save a life since the research I have done is very legit and backed by much research and if I can do as much as I can to keep myself and family safe from cancer I am willing to do just that and maybe help someone else along the way.

Hi ladies, first time pregnancy here, any help would be great. What is the recommended bra sizing to estimate for when milk comes in? I was a 38D before my pregnancy, at 6 months I’m now at 40DD. I’d like to start stocking up on a few items. Thank you.

    • Jill

Dont go nuts buying bras before 12w postpartum when your supply settles. Find comfy bras that can accommodate a few cup sizes and grow with you. When your uterus returns to your pelvis you will go back to a 38 band but your cup will fluctuate. My first I started at a 36f and now on my 3rd nursling Im up 7 cups, so yeah you can see laters that will shock you lol! You can also buy a 36 and use band extenders to accommodate your ribs expanding. Congrats mama!!!!

I am wondering if this bra can be worn after you’re finished with breast feeding.I have no experience in this area so I will rely on the wisdom of you kind ladies.I volunteer with a woman who wants a bra she can wear while still breast feeding and on the go without the little ones and still look good.😕

  13. Lori

These are my favorite nursing bras. Hardly wore any other one during my 14 months of nursing my son. Only issue i had was that the seams that are on outside of cups do show thru most shirts, so I end up wearing double shirt most of the time.
